Aw Hershey, that is so unfair! Forgetting breakfast and then a trip to the vet?! You deserve better. (I hope the other doggie was OK. ).
WO, how will Mommy be without internet? Is she one of those humans always checking her phone?
I decided that I was completely bored with Mommy and her stupid grape stuff. Mom trued to play ball with me later, and I didn't even want to do that. Maybe tomorrow I will be more in the mood to get into trouble.

Wild Ones have a great weekend we will miss you Grape Jam is yummy mommy puts it on her peanut butter and jelly sandwiches whenever she eats it for breakfast Daddy did good when John the barber went to cut his hair( last time daddy had a hair cut was March before he went to nursing home in April) and he shaved him but daddy was getting restless toward the end. I asked John if he would do it monthly he said sure just call and next time he would try and bring a portable barber chair see if we can get Ward to sit in it as it was rough for John bending down to the wheelchair trying to cut hair and shave, Tomorrow Walton is having Old Fashioned Day but mommy not going she doesn't like to have to fight traffic and find a parking place so Rosemarie having Porche pick her up so she can work at the Senior Center that she has been saying all year she would not work there but has changed her mind so she can do it. Mommy knows if she went because a member of the senior center they would put her to work and she doesn't want to be working. So I will just stay at home knit and spend time with my girls. Have a great Friday everyone

Hi everyfurs Hershey, so sorry about the vet...they kinda tricked you didn't they....how rude!
Wild Ones, hope mommy has a fun trip.
AJ& Tori, that's great that daddy got his shave and haircut. When mama's mom was in the nursing home they had a beauty salon at the place. She always looked forward to going there once a week.
It is so hot here but when we see the damage from Dorian we feel fortunate just to have the heat!

DALLAS my vet nevfur lets me have brekkie if he's going to give me take-a-nap shots. He says I might urka-gurka and not know it, and that would not be good at all! We didn't get that far yesfurday.
Today was foggy again at our house. Mommy and I had a lazy day, and now it's the time when daddy doesn't have to go to Work so we can just nap on the couch fur days or years or something!

I love how you feel about time, Hershey! Hanna, I know what you mean about feeling grateful for whatever our weather is other than Dorian. I can't get over the pictures I have seen on TV. Some areas were left with nothing larger than a matchstick. My typist is still recovering from the days of jammin'. Too much time on her feel led her bad leg to swell. Spending too much time pulling weeds caused her to have an issues with her abdomen (too much time spent bent over). She is a lazy wreck. And for some reason, her blatant laziness keeps me off the computer. Is there no justice for puppies in this world? Hershey, do you know which day you might have to go back to that v-e-t- person?

Unsurping Toby it is hard work pulling weeds and back breaking you need to give mommy a break my mommy is too lazy to even go out in the front and start pulling weeds out of her front garden. Abbie we are sorry your mommy has the pain with her cyst and it isn't draining and your doctor feels he should let it drain on its own. Good idea to get a 2nd opinion Hershey hoping you get in and out of your vet quickly when you go. AJ went yesterday just to have her anals cleaned she did better last night about sleeping and staying put and not up and down every five minutes. Mommy finished another set of booties going to work on the hat. Wants to do 2 for her two nieces so when they get married and have kids which may be when she is dead and gone they will have something done by mommy. Christine said she still has the sweater I crocheted for Amber when she was born and when Lydia was born she wore it and then she put it up. They have a couple of quilts made by me still haven't received from them the schnauzer pattern and material they want me to make guess working on the girls bathroom not giving them much free time. After she does the second set of booties she wants to try doing a sweater for a baby see how it goes. Geordie did you eat some of the grape jam or does it have to sit for awhile before it can be eaten Everyone have a great day

So sorry about the eaten posts and the friends leaving for the Bridge! I hope good times and obedient websites are around the corner for us.
AJ, technically you aren't supposed to eat jam for several hours until after it sets. G & G often dipped bread in the leftovers, though!

Those must be some nasty bugs to make Tori . So far I haven't had a repeat of yesterday's performance. For us, it was the coyotes that howl like crazy at night. They can be so loud sometimes. Since the camera is still working, what Mom decided to do is order a card reader with a USB cable. She can take the mini chip from the camera, put it in the reader and download the pictures that way. It will be a pain, but at least she will still be able to use the camera. Plus, the card reader was $4.99, and Mom had a $5 gift card. All she had to pay was a few cents in tax. Ha!

Way behind again. Let's see if I can catch up. DALLAS mom is so glad to have the neighbors we do now. Our last neighbor in that house was pretty mean. Hope we can keep these neighbors forever. They couldn't be nicer or more fun. And I wish you lived close enough where you could come join us. Wish you all lived close! Mom's had a lot of music opportunities over the last week, but hasn't played outside again. It's warmed back up. Ugh. Come on fall weather!! We want it where we can play outside all the time. That was a good idea to see if a barber could go to daddy. And wonderful that they could. When pawpaw was in transitional care last year the nursing home had a lady that came in once a week to do hair cuts and such. TheWildOnes hope your mom was going some place fun. Or coming to our house to help organize mom and pick up Finn. BOL Whatever her plans hope she has a safe trip and a lot of fun. Cedar that poor family. Bad enough to be displaced, but to have the accident thrown in as well. Hope they have an uneventful trip back home. UsurpingToby home made grape jam sounds good. But your mom (and mine) should get her priorities straight. Just saying. Mom's granny used to make Muscedine jam. Mom misses that. Angels Hershey & Winkie oh man you did have a bad day. And to think you have to go through it again. Sheesh. I hope you at least got an extra special good dinner when you got back home. Daisy & Josey how to hear about Rex Mi Amor. Keeping his family in our thoughts and prayers. Cheeky had her yearly check up last week. The vet said her heart and lungs sound good and gave her a good report. Mom has noticed that Cheeky often swallows hard. So she asked ghe vet about that. He did a lot of squeezing, poking and prodding around her neck and top part of her chest. Never really said anything about it. Later after mom and Cheeky were home mom noticed Cheeky's neck looked swollen. Mom gently felt around and no lumps - felt like fluid. Later in the evening most of the swelling was gone, but mom noticed it looked like a great big bruise over Cheeky's upper chest. Mom kept a close eye on her the rest of the week, and happy to say no further problems with swelling and the bruise has been slowly fading. We're guessing it was from all the poking the vet did around the neck. It scared mom a little. When Cheeky was first diagnosed with the tumor on her heart she was having trouble with the sack around her lungs being filled with blood. Thankfully breathing has been good. Last week was a busy week for mom and a boring week for us. She kept doing all kinds of things with music and helping grandma was stuff. I thought we had her straightened out about her priorities, but you see how well that worked. Hopefully this next week is going to be much calmer.
