Pippi many prayers and wags and purrs for precious Cheeky. She is a wonderful little girl. Sometime Pooks looks all done in when he is sleeping. Its hard outside at times being he can't see any more. But mommy stays by him out there and calls his name or makes a noise and he will follow. But when he acts lost or confused she picks him right up, cuddles and kisses him. Its difficult watching our babies grow old. But they are all so very brave and keep on going for as long as they can. We can all learn from them

Good afternoon everyone! Well, our governor called the shelter at home rule, but nothing for us in Glendale has changed since the city manager says we're ALL vital. How are people working in a closed library, or closed adult center, or closed parks vital? Oh well. Mommy feels like she is getting a lot done. willy , mommy is sure glad there are no skunks around here! We have scorpions instead. DALLAS we are so sorry to hear daddy fell! We hope he is okay? Having us dogs to cuddle is so nice!! Hugs Daisy & Josey . I know your mommy takes very good care of Pookah!!

Wild ones, I think Humanmom prefer skunks over scorpions......
Tori, what was used to wash Teddy's nephew is first soak the fur with water, soak with vinegar, rinse, wash with dish soap, rinse, cover with baking soda, leave a few minutes and rinse and wash another time with dish soap. there is still a little smell but nothing bad after that.

Hmm. A package TheWildOnes that may be Clarabelle? Daddy mailed her to you? hehe willy oh no! Sheesh and mom says I'm a stinker, but I don't smell like skunk. Hope they were successful getting rid of that smell. I think I am going with skunks over scorpions, too. DALLAS I'm so sorry to hear daddy rolled out of bed. Hope no serious injuries from it. Sending him some gentle TheWildOnes look at it this way - if mommy is vital she is still getting paid. But it would be nice if she could be vital at home. I am happy to report that Cheeky is back to herself. The shaking continued a little longer the other day and she finllay spit up. She seemed MUCH better after that and by the next morning was herself. We are guessing she ate something, but not sure what. It may have been a cat treat. Cheeky and I like to try and get some from the cats, and Cheeky has a history of a sensitive stomach. So even a small bite could set her off. Nothing exciting going on here. Mom is still trying to stay ahead of the allergies and has been a little on the tired side. Probably partly from the allergies and partly from the allergy medicine. The allergist has told her before that the body doesn't really know the difference from a cold or allergies. It just knows it thinks it has something to attack and goes into attack mode. Think the maple trees are getting close to being done with their thing, and the oak trees are leafing out and dropping their stuff everywhere. Maybe soon things will settle down.

Um, I think I had a senior moment. I just realized that your package TheWildOnes would be the painting of Clarabelle.

Hee hee Pippi, and here we thought your were being a smart a$$!! Glad to hear Cheeky is back to herself! It is so upsetting when they aren't!! willy, mommy got stung for the first time a couple weeks ago! It was very painful for the first day. Then after that is really died down a lot! So intense pain/multiple baths? Hmmmm, that's a tough one! Hee hee! DALLAS big hugs for your mommy. We totally get how hard it is to lose a furbaby. Tango is really showing his age and mommy worries about him all the time. Daisy & Josey, so glad you got sun!! Ranger says he will be right over!

We have skunks here, no scorpions. I've nevfur been sprayed, though. I heard tomato juice is the best stink-killer. Anyfur evfur tried that?
TheWildOnes, that's good the city still wants to pay your mommy, and she has work to do even though the library is closed. Daddy and I are really glad he gets to keep working at home. Starting tomorrow, the hoomans are supposed to cover their snouts if they do go outside. Now mommy will know how I feel with that *&!*#$*!! muzzle on!
This is old news already, but mommy thought your pawrents might find it encouraging:
DALLAS, I'm glad your daddy wasn't hurt when he rolled out of bed. I hope it won't be long befure your mommy can go visit him again.
Pippi, I'm glad Cheeky is feeling more like herwoof. I hope your mommy is staying ahead of her allergies. My daddy is fighting with his, too. We're going to have rain ovfur the weekend. Sometimes that make it better, sometimes not.

Happy Friday everyfur Mommy is sheltering in place at home but once in a great while she does watch Parker and Evan. Coal is 13 so he stays home. Dad and hubro and husis are still going to work . Mommy wishes they could all stay home. Brian is still trying to get a job at Kroger and has weekly AA meetings. He is allowed to drive but the license Branch is always closed when he goes so he cant get his drivers license to carry it and drive. Have a super day!!

Pook & Molly, I was thinking about Coal and Parker. Are they still getting their lunches? We got an email from the state saying that drivers' license renewals will all be extended until the end of May. I picture a mad house at the already messy DMV once this is over.

Yay! "Clarabelle" made it home! You had asked if mommy missed working on her. Yes, but she was also nervous about this piece. She was afraid that something would happen and she wouldn't be able to mail it. She is relieved it is safe.

Willy, is it warm where you are? Around here it has been so cold at night that the skunks have been asleep. I dunno, choosing between skunks and scorpions is a toughie. Do scorpions carry diseases?

I saw one of my puppy friends out on a walk today. She was due for a grooming when everything shut down. You should see her now. She is sooo fluffy and cute!! By the tine the groomer reopens, that pup is going to look like a sheep.
