We haven't stuck our heads in here in a while. Hope everyone is doing well and healing nicely. This evening (and for tomorrow) we would like to pray that * everyone has something to smile about. * everyone has something tasty to eat. * everyone has some time to do something they really enjoy. * those with health issues are improving. * those with fears and concerns will get good information and good news and have their fears quieted. * everyone will have a great day.

Clarabelle I think you mean DALLAS but we posted this on FB this morning. Everything Has Its Time To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven: A time to be born, And a time to die; time to plant, And a time to pluck what is planted; A time to kill, And a time to heal; A time to break down, And a time to build up; A time to weep, And a time to laugh; A time to mourn, And a time to dance; A time to cast away stones, And a time to gather stones; A time to embrace, And a time to refrain from embracing; A time to gain, And a time to lose; A time to keep, And a time to throw away; A time to tear, And a time to sew; A time to keep silence, And a time to speak; A time to love, And a time to hate; A time of war, And a time of peace. Ecclesiastes 3 : 1 - 8 NKJV

Sadly I tend to forget about this thread. Hopefully that means most have been pretty healthy. I'm sure I will miss some and I will apologize up front. I promise it's not on purpose. I'd like to especially remember a few in my prayers today. TheWildOnes daddy ... hope the are nearly done with the tests and such and have a good plan of action formed. Hope treatments will be minimally invasive, but make big differences. We hope very much that he will see big improvements and be back home soon with a new lease on life. We hope that he is committed to making whatever changes are necessary and can really turn things around and have a long, healthier life ahead of him. We are also keeping mommy and the rest of the family in our prayers. Sometimes I think it is harder to be the person/family supporting the patient than it is to be the patient. I don't care if you are doing nothing but sitting and keeping someone company it can be so tiring spending time at the hospital and it takes a lot out of you physically and mentally. You put on your happy face and you see to their needs and sometimes set your own aside for the time being. So we are also thinking of mommy. Tying in with that, we are thinking of DALLAS mommy. She certainly knows how exhausting it can be to be the caregiver. We're so glad she gets a break now and has other avenues to get out and interact with people. I can only imagine how hard some of those visits with daddy must be as she continues to watch his decline. We hope though that she knows he is where he needs to be, and we also hope that she will get to see him smile. We've seen pictures in the past and know he has a beautiful smile. I'm sure it would warm her heart to see that again. We also keep you pups in our prayers. I'm afraid my memory is bad. So I can't remember which pup is dealing with what, but I hope both are doing well and that medication continues to keep things well under control. UsurpingToby we probably don't say it often, but we keep Geordie in our prayers. I'm so sorry he gave you a scare recently, and am very glad to hear he has rallied and doing better. Hope it stays that way for a long time. It is so hard to watch pups (or people) decline, especially when you know there is an underlying disease (monster) that isn't likely to go away. You watch those hiccups in how they are doing more closely and you can't help but wonder. Hope you will see many, many, many more good times to come. Buddy we hope you continue to see improvements. We sure wish they could come in leaps and bounds, but I guess leaping and bounding is out on house arrest. hehe. I hope you will be able to continue to back off on the meds and still feel well and see improvements. That would be a good sign. And we hope the cold laser treatments continue to speed your improvement. We'd love to see you able to run around off leash outside again. Slow and steady is the ticket. Angels Hershey & Winkie we hope your ears clear up quickly and you won't have to keep using the ear drops. We hope most of all to keep you healthy and comfortable. And buddy, I'm also going to hope the peeps drop some really good food right in front of you and you get to it before they do. hehe. Daisy & Josey we pray you are both doing well. I don't think I have heard you mention arthritis lately so we are hoping that means it is well controlled and not being an issue. We hope it stays that way! We also hope that this is a good school year for the grandkids. Hope they are all doing well and loving their teachers, classes and classmates. It sure makes things easier. Milo Blue Eyes we have both of your parents in our thoughts and prayers. I hope daddy will have a great trip and come home in great spirits as he faces the challenges ahead of him. We hope that his upcoming surgery will go well and that he will have a speedy recovery. We hope he will not have to do a lot of other treatments and such and that he can immediately get on to the business of healing and moving on. We hope that mommy's health will improve, too. I'm sure the stress that the future holds with daddy's health won't help, but I hope there are ways to keep things in check so mommy won't be feeling poorly. We wish there was a way to cure those issues for good, but know the best you can hope for is to keep things well controlled. I'm sure there are others I have forgotten and I'm sorry. My memory just isn't what it used to be. So we also have prayers for anyone else in need. Whether that is a health issue, a financial one, social issues, or even just getting your parents to drop good food on the floor and not notice. hehe. Prayers for all in need.
