We haza cloudy day here, no rain. Lil breezy 'n mid 50'z. Pa iz watchin' racez taday, sum got rained out so dey got a double header goin' on taday. Mommy haz all kin'a showz her watchez online. Pa goez ta hospital in two weekz, so rite 'fore Pa 'n Mommy will get her all caught up on foodagez fur like a week.
Taday we'z shinin' da lite on BEEF....all foodagez wif beef...

Playing catch up today. My secretary hasn't been doing a good job lately. Daisy & Josey I hope Birdie will like the sprinkler, too. A nice way to cool off on a hot day. Milo Blue Eyes my mom has had trouble sleeping at nights lately, too. She doesn't know what is causing her to wake up, but then she can't get back to sleep. We try to tell her she should just nap with us during the day. hehe Boy I have missed out on a lot of good food! Mom over did it working with the pressure washer on Friday and then we had a super lazy Saturday. And mom worked on the lawn this morning and then we were lazy for a while enjoying the swing after that. And NOW ... I'm hungry! And I get to be first in line today. Woo-hoo! Thanks Milo! |

Milo, I hope Daddy is OK when he goes to the hospital. *hugs*
Pippi, my mom has been complaining about poor sleep too. She feels like she is racing inside and can't relax. (Of course, having to pee all the time doesn't help either.)
Pooks & Birdie, I am so jealous of your rain. We finally got a tiny bit today, but we need a lot more. It's kind of funny that it only rained for 15 min, but the grass grew a whole inch in that time!

I had a Big Day yesfurday. We went on a walk away from our block! We walked and walked and den we came to a place dat had grass dat wasn't grass, and a fence around, and it smelled like a hunnert million doggies! And daddy took my leash off and I could go anywhere I wanted and sniff and sniff and sniff! I was de only doggie dere. Daddy wanted to play Fetch, but who cares about a ball when dere is so much to smell?!
I'm still tired!

UsurpingToby every once in a while mom has to get up to tinkle during the night, but most of the time that isn't what wakes her up. She tends to decide to go ahead and go when she does wake up so she won't have to get up for that later and is afraid she is only going to teach her body that she needs to get up more often for that. Doh! Sometimes mom has trouble getting to sleep because her mind is busy thinking and worrying about things and it won't settle down and relax. But other times something is waking her up, but she can't figure out what. I told her she needs to think more like a dog. If you can eat it, eat it. If you can't eat it ... if you can chew on it, chew on it. If it's not worth chewing on, and you've had a bite to eat recently, then it may be time to nap. hehe. Oh Toffee what fun! It looks like you were on the trail of something there. I hope you get to go again soon. Dog parks can be a lot of fun. Hmm. Grass that wasn't grass. Wasn't someone smart. Mom wants some of that because she doesn't like "mowing" our grass. Like yours Toby, we feel like it rains and grows an inch. And we've been getting plenty of rain! I have to agree with everyone else ... look how much you have grown Toffee! Looking good buddy.
