What is wrong with me way to eat a pumpkin?

Oh boy am i starved since mom NEVER lets me get here very often any more. Boo on mom. hehe. But before I stuff myself, let me go back a page or two and catch up at least a little. Sure wish we could stay caught up!!

Milo Blue Eyes I'm so glad your mom has some good friends to help out. We think of her often and wonder how she and Pa are doing. Our weather is finally cooling down a little. Mom thought it was never going to happen. We are getting some 70s this week. 60s sounds even better.

Toffee my mom likes Neil Diamond, too. She was listening to one of those songs and wondering why she doesn't have any Neil Diamond songs in her big notebook of music for the ukulele. She may have to change that.

Foofy my grandma used to have a cat that liked to sit on the top ledge of a door if it was open a bit. He loved to be up high and look down.

willy congratulations on your new Lure Cursing title! Woo-hoo!! I'll bet you run like the wind. Your pinching the people at the starting line makes me think of Willow. She likes to give schnibbly kisses. Mom keeps telling her people don't like being schnibbled ... and neither do cats.

mamoizi & Phiasko congratulations on getting everything right at your obedience competition. I'll bet ribbons won't be far behind.

And Phiasko, Dakota and Willow (and their friend Audrey) kept trying to dig holes in Toby's yard this morning. They stopped when Audrey's mom threatened to get out a squirt gun. hehe

Daisy & Josey I'm trying to remember, do you two wear coats in the winter? You both look a little fluffier than me, but you also get colder weather I think. Just starting to cool down and feel nice here. How about at your house?

Hey Buddy . How are you doing? Is your mom trying to put some weight on you? ...And then gets picky about what they let you eat? That is my mom. Says I need to put on some weight and then feeds me brown rocks (kibble) when I would rather have a can of tuna. Sheesh. At least she hasn't tried that kidney formula brown rocks again. I eat a senior kibble now along with some soft dog food. I do still get my blueberries, but I miss out on a lot of other goodies these days.

Toffee I think a digging competition is a great idea. I know a lot of dogs that would enjoy that. I used to like to dig in the mud. So much easier to fling onto your sister. Tee hee hee.

willy about a week ago or so mom found a little dog running loose around the park. He was looking kind of lost and kept going in the street. Mom eventually got her friends to hold Dakota and Willow's leashes (brave ladies - those two had been pulling a lot that day) while she went to try and catch the dog. What a sweet little old man he was. Let mom pick him right up. Mom and one of her walking buddies went knocking on a few doors to see if anyone knew him, while Toby's mom took all the dog to her yard. No one knew the dog so mom brought him home and gave him a bath and nail trim. About the time she finished that Toby's mom called to say there was someone at her house looking for their lost dog. He was such a sweetheart - got along with all of us, even the cats. Mom would have kept him in a heart beat, but she was also glad to get him back to his mama, who had been worried. She had company that didn't close the gate to the fence when she left. So his mom didn't know he could get out.

Um, mom wants to know if Dakota, Willow and I can come stay a few days and get baths and nail trims? hehe.

DALLAS yikes on the tickets to see Neil Diamond songs and not even have him singing them.

Oh no on Rina's insurance cancelling on her. Mom talks with a friend of her dad's from time to time that lives in FL and think he was recently told his insurance was going up - big jump in price. If she gets the electrical panel updated would the cost for insurance come back down some? I sure hope so.

Milo Blue Eyes mom was thinking about Pa the other day as she was talking to her neighbor. The neighbors had been down to visit her mother who has started dialysis and is having a lot of trouble with it. I sure hate to hear Pa is in the hospital again. I hope they can keep things under control and keep him comfortable.

I love the Howloween foodage. Always so much fun!

Charly mom couldn't leave that little dog running loose in the streets. Mom was a little disappointed in some people in houses near where she found the dog. The first one she asked there had been people out in their yard for a while and just ignored the dog. When mom asked if they knew the dog they said no and had seen it running around for about an hour. How can you ignore a lost dog running around and into the street stopping traffic now and then for an hour?!!
