Milo, me is so so so sorry for your Dad, me wish me could  your Mommy right now. Toffee, to answer your daddy me bike is an old CCM trail bike with disk breaks front and rear. Pippi, if the bike get fix on time there is a race in early November that we would like to do. Pippi and Foofy, it was a 1,20 mile trails and because of the bike troubles it did take about 9 minutes to do. Me usually run  but the bike trouble was making me kind of slow. Foofy, most mushing sports( bikejoring, canicross and sleighing) come from Northern Europe, me sleigh for winter is the modern version of the old Norwegian sleigh. |

Milo, we are so sorry for your Mom, it was so not nice not telling her sooner and not letting her see your Dad.
My Mom is alright, only her ego got hurt, I don't think we will do any other competition soon.
Pippi, that sound like something my Mom would do if she was trying to downhill skiing even if she did that often when younger.

mamoizi & Phiasko I'm going to tell on mom more. That story the other day was her first time trying downhill skiing. She had done a little cross country skiing when she was younger, but no big hills. Well, her friends talked her into trying downhill skiing again the year later. This time she thought she would take the lesson they offer. The instructor told mom his advice was she get rid of her poles before she hurt someone. BOL! That skiing trip didn't go much better than the first and she hasn't tried it again since. She decided that just wasn't her thing. And I think it was the year before last my auntie was skiing - she likes downhill skiing and has done quite a bit. But on this particular trip she caught the tip of one of her skis on something and it tipped her up and twisted her ankle and turns out she broke it. But she did ski again last winter. She is braver (or dumber) than mom. Tee hee hee. My stomach has settled back down and I am back to myself for now. Dakota hasn't upchucked any more, but still not wanting to eat breakfast some mornings. She does that from time to time. Speaking of breakfast and food in general ... thank you DALLAS and willy for the food. May I have double helpings of everything please and thank you.
