Laura, wonderful your vet is cooperating. Hugs for Pippi. Having had to lug around a 70 pound dog, I agree with the 50 pound thing. As far as the snow, some years we have lots already at this time of year, and other years not so much. We had rain all day today and tonight freezing rain is predicted. Dee, good luck with that! Anick, I did finally get my parcel today. Let's hope that strike doesn't last long. Deb, I hope you can find a mobile vet for Foofy. Lisa, enjoy sleeping in tomorrow. Well, Buddy had a bad day. We needed to run errands and he will not eat when we are away. Of course, he got sick as soon as we got home.

I will look for a mobile vet. You'd think that being in the L.A. area, there'd be one. Today I wound up having to go to Best Buy to get rechargeable batteries. Now I can make calls on my landline. So tomorrow, I'll see what I can do. Glad you have a cooperating vet, Laura. Hugs for Buddy. Hope he feels better soon, or his stomach settles down.

Diane, you are lucky. My parcel would have made it yesterday if the delivery guy would have had a working brain. It was out for delivery, the postman was parked in front of my house with the package in it but he did say the bare code didn't work properly and without it working he didn't know for sure it was my package even if my address was on it, they are now sending it back to sender....

Good morning Happy Friday Carol thank you and have a wonderful day Lisa glad you are off and hope you can get your sleep. I hope the trip is successful but I was going to order a big bus but someone brought up the idea if the play is April 18 most snowbirds will be heading back but don't have enough time to do the one in March as I have to meet with the board in December to make sure they could do our deposits till all the checks get in. Diane so sorry Buddy had a bad day and got sick as soon as you got home from your errands at least it was fresh and not dried up. We are sending lots of prayers for sweet Buddy. Glad you got your package Laura we also send prayers for Pippi Deb sending prayers you can find a mobile vet so you won't have to get out and get lost. Anick that seems really stupid having your address yet because bar code would not work sent it back I guess they are told that to show proof of delivery. Hopefully you will get your package today My happy going to exercise this morning then to play chair volleyball at the Health Cente3r with the other ladies in our subdivision. Hugs Dee, Dallas, and Belle

Anick, your postman is an idiot. And I say that as an ex-postal worker. He could have asked you for government issued id to verify your identity. But then the bar code wasn't working, so there's that. Irritating.
Buddy is still off this morning. Hoping he picks up this afternoon.
Have a great day everyone

Good morning Happy Saturday Diane since you were an ex postal worker you know that the postman could have left it after seeing government issued ID to verify her identity so I agree he was stupid. I am sorry to hear Buddy is still off this morning we are sending prayers he picks up this afternoon Well My happy going to pancake breakfast this morning at clubhouse have to work it and if cool enough when I get home since only reaching 77 will start in backyard doing weeding. I have an appointment Tuesday at 1 to meet with the people of Oak Run Travelers Group to help me set up our Travelers Group. I also finished a dog and cat microwaveable cozy that Kandy paid me to do she is giving them away as a Christmas present Anick did you ever get the package the postman took back or has the strike ruined your chances. Are you and Willy doing anything this weekend Leslie I hope you are feeling good and Murphy doing well Lisa I hope you got your sleep yesterday Deb hoping things working out for you. Marty haven't heard from you hoping things are doing great in your household Laura hoping you and Pippi are doing better Hugs, Dee, Dallas and Belle

Diane, even if they are now on strike a Canada post supervisor did call me yesterday to tell me a blame will be given to that postman once the strike is over, he told me that if the bar code wasn't working he had to enter the tracking number manually and that would have done the job, one of two things, he was too lazy or he was already doing pressure measure because of the upcoming strike.
Dallas, I will have to wait until after the strike to get my package. For the first time in a long time Willy doesn't have any activities this weekend but tomorrow I have to go help Francine (MaMoizi and Phiasko) who is in the middle of flipping things around on her apartment.

Anick, that is exactly right. If we had problems with the bar code in the office, we entered it manually. It's time consuming, but is easy enough to do. Sorry that happened to you. Well as it looks like the government is probably not gonna legislate the workers back, this could be a long strike.
Sending good thoughts to everyone. Buddy had a bad night, so hoping to catch a nap today.

Anick, you will have to take a picture of the crocheted quilt when you are done. Do you have a particular color in mind? Dee, that is too funny taking your chair up to show them you really did win. And woo-hoo for winning!! Sounds like you are just the person to head up and organize the bus trips. I hope you get a good turn out and everyone has a lot of fun. Lisa, I hope you got to sleep in the other morning. I haven't gotten to sleep and wake up on my terms in forever. My crew tends to think I am going sleep through breakfast or something and make sure I get up. Diane, I don't know how you help hold up a 70 pound dog! My back is feeling it with a 13 pound dog. Ugh on the freezing rain. I like the rain - find the sound relaxing, and I like snow. Don't see a lot here. But I am not fond of freezing rain or sleet or ice. Hope that didn't cause any problems. for Buddy. I sure hope things settle back down soon and he has a good long spell of feeling good. Deb, I hope you will be able to find a mobile vet that isn't too expensive. I've never used one before, but it sure would be convenient, wouldn't it. Anick, OMD about your package. I think I would have been tempted to grab the package and run for the house and lock the door. That seems just spiteful for him to do that. I'm so sorry. Diane, would the bar code not working really prevent him from being able to deliver the package? Oops. I see Anick has already answered that question. Diane, I hope you and Buddy got a good nap today, and hope it did a world of good to both of you. Pippi is about the same with her leg. And she is not really using her other back leg either - using it less and less. Sigh. But hopefully after a little more time she will be ready to again. Let's see. Happy thoughts. * We've finally had some fall like weather and I have been loving that. * I had put down some grass seed about a month ago and it's looking good. A few spots could have used more, and as luck would have it one of my walking buddies was wanting to get rid of some grass seed so as not to attract mice. So she gave that to me and I spread that on some of the thinner spots. * My mom had brought me a piece of cake yesterday and I still had some left to enjoy this evening. I hope everyone has a better day tomorrow, even if your today was good.

Anick and Diane, I hope your postal strike ends sooner rather than later! How does it feel to not have an event for Willy this weekend, Anick? Amazing you can hold up a 70 lbs. dog, Diane. I can't hold myself without help - a cane or walker, etc. Balance issues - not related to Stenosis. Dee, cheers for winning! Sorry Buddy isn't doing well, Laura. Are you catching up on your sleep now, Lisa? Laura, so sorry about not getting to sleep on your terms. I think I'll just ask my neighbor to help catch Foofy. He and his wife are very helpful to me.

Diane, I hope buddy will be better today. There is a postman living 2 doors down in one of those big new homes and he say they are ready to strike for more then a month if they need too, they want what they ask for and don't really want to settle for less. Laura, this is the pattern I did pick but I did change some colours in it. That particular postman as been trouble since the first day he got here, he refuse to deliver packages or letters if all the perfect conditions are not there. Last summer he did complain about one of my rose bush, I didn't get my mail for 3 days until an inspector did come over and the inspector could not find what was wrong so he did call the postman over to explain. Turn out the rose bush as some very high branches, some reaching 12 feet, and one of those branches is hanging 8 feet over my sidewalk and he wanted that branch cute down even if it was so up in the air. The inspector did say the postman was over doing it but I did cute the branch to buy peace. Deb, we are so not used to doing nothing on the weekend that we don't know what to do!LOL!

Good morning Happy Sunday Anick that is a beautiful quilt is that done with regular yarn or all with the #10 thread like you table cover. That definitely took a lot of time to do but well worth it. So sorry now you have to wait until the strike is over to get that package I feel sorry that they are holding this strike when people are mailing out Christmas packages. I hope they fire that postman of yours. Don't over do it and hurt yourself flipping Francine apartment. Nice she has you to help her Carol thank you for the compliment. We too are for Buddy Diane we are so sorry that Buddy is having more bad days than good days are prayers for you both Hope you can catch a nap today Deb hoping you can get your neighbors to help you get Foofy. Laura great that you are having fall weather and the grass is coming up where you put seeds and you had another day of having a cake your mom brought over the other day. We are sorry Pippi still favoring that leg and pray she starts walking on it soon. Everyone keeps asking me if I have a date yet for our trip but Tuesday I am meeting with the Travelers Club leaders in Oak Run who have offered to show me how to set up our trips at 1 pm and I still have to meet with the board hoping they will put the deposit down if they do then I can try and hurry to set up a trip begore snow birds go back north. I hae another resident going who has offered to help and more have but I will see what the people in Oak Run feel how many volunteers I need for just Day Trips I don't want too many volunteers not knowing what they can do. I too hope I get a good turnout and it is successful. Lisa how are you doing ? Leslie how are you doing? Marty how are you doing? Kathy how are you doing My happy today our church group going to see the movie The Greatest Christmas Pageant Ever and I have Janet who goes to our church and lives in our subdivision picking me up since will be dark when we get out and I can't drive in dark. So passing up chair volleyball to see this morie. Hugs Dee, Dallas and Belle
