Was it Toby's barking that woke you up? That has been waking me lately. Grrr....
Oh no, Teddy had a seizure?!? Do you know what caused it? My brother had a dog with epilepsy, and he had seizures from time to time. It does kind of screw with their appetites and make them tired. Geordie only ever had seizures right at the end.
Dee, I think that year with all the hurricanes was the one where my niece went to visit her grandparents in Florida. We laughed because she ended up spending her whole break in disaster shelters with a bunch of senior citizens. Definitely not the vacation she had been hoping for!

Dee, I was wondering if you had to sign papers with the school to say you will be picking up your young man after class. Who would have thought that some day you would run your own taxi service?

We are not sure what did cause the seizure, it did not last long and the signs right now could be heart related or epilepsy. Both can affect eating but not usually as much as it does for Teddy right now, he barely eat but he does drink. The only think the vet think of is that his belly was full when he did happen and it did slow his digestion a lot because he is pooing more then he eat right now.

Anick we are so sorry Teddy is still not feeling well and not eating like he used to he is in our prayers Leslie I haven't signed any paperwork yet but maybe will have to but I don't have to do it till his mom gets a job. But his mom may just have to tell them and they will be good with it so won't know till Tina goes back to work. The job she had for years they let her go because a new employee came in and made problems she was wanting Tina job so told things on Tina that were not true and they figured the new employee was threatening to take them to court so they went to Tina house got her keys told her not to report to work. Then they gave one of the men her job and the lady quit. Carol how is the new mower doing for you. Laura nice you took time out to help your mom with computer problems and she held Cheeky while you did Cheeky's nails. I haven't been a prime member long but Di is a prime member said you don't get charged shipping and since I order enough from Amazon I should sign up it is only $14 a month which pays for the shipping. So I did. I order my yarn through Amazon and birthday gifts rather to drive somewhere use up the gas. Raining here this morning I hope it stops before 10 otherwise since outside visitation they will cancel my visit with Ward the only reason I got to visit him before raining as it started after I left the house on the way there. My cousin Cindy in Beachwood NJ that sent me all the yarn that I made the hats and scars with yesterday she posted on her facebook she was in the hospital she had a huge attack at 4:30 am and they are planning on surgery for her today at 6:00 am. I posted a surgery prayer asked her to keep me posted on her facebook page if something bad happens I hope one of her nieces will post let us now. Asking for prayers for her. She is 10 years younger than me and she is the one whose husband died a few months back and she was not allowed in the hospital and was upset she did not get to say goodbye to him

Anick, I hope Teddy will perk back up some. It is so hard to see them not feeling well. Those are the times I wish most of all that my pets could talk to me and tell me how they are feeling or where they are hurting, etc. Dee, how frustrating for Tina. I hope it will end up to be a blessing in disguise and she will end up with an even better job. I think the benefits of prime membership would be nice. I don't order often enough a year that I could justify the cost though. I go for the free shipping, but sometimes have to wait longer since I'm not prime. I hope the rain won't spoil your visit with Ward today. We are keeping your cousin Cindy in our thoughts and prayers. Hope you won't have to wait long for some good news there. Hope the surgery will be successful and she will be back home before you know it. - Laura (Pippi, Cheeky, Inky and Nimbus)

Good morning everyone Happy Tuesday and 1st day of September Carol I have your pocket shawl finished will pack it up this evening mail it to you tomorrow as Rosemarie wants to see it today so I will have her take a picture of it on me so I can post it for you to see Laura the rain stopped at 9 so I was able to visit Ward though he slept we hollered for him to wake up and clapped but since he is hard of hearing and can't see he just kept sleeping when I used to visit him before the virus I would put my hand on him and he would wake up knowing I was there now kind of hard since we can't touch him. I am afraid my cousins cell phone is dead and she probably forgot to take her charger as I was looking on her facebook to see if she posted anything for after her surgery but nothing and I asked her niece to keep me posted but haven't heard from her either when I do I will let you know. Lisa glad you had a great time and the weather was cooler and guess it was for the best no internet service. I gave Jerry that book you recommended The Stiff by Mary Roach to give to Devan he said he was picking her up at 3 and will be happy she loves reading. I told him you highly recommended it as you work at a library and think it is neat Devan wanting to get into a field that not too many women are in. Anick we are keeping Teddy in our prayers Marty we also keep Hershey in our prayers. Kathy you and Stephen are always in our prayers. Hugs Dee & Tori

Teddy is still refusing to eat normally but he did grab some roastbeef from my plate last evening, I did keep some for him for later today to see if he will eat more. Heart medicine as done so many progress now. My father had a heart valve repair 2 months ago and they didn't even have to open his chest to do it, only little holes to pass the tools and he was out of the hospital in a few short days. Can't you even touch Ward with gloves? It is you can't make him feel you are there.

Anick many prayers for Teddy. Dee the mower works great but even though it's self propelled it is to heavy for me. I have to pull it back from the fence and it's just to heavy, it doesn't have reverse LOL! So my daughter Tracy is buying it for her hubby Brian on weekly payments. Whatever she has to spare each week. She is good on her word. So good thing I still have the push mower my son Travis bought me 4 years ago I had to finish the yard with it Sunday and my the difference of mower weight is something! Dee,Ward looks good. Thank you for making me the pocket shawl! You are Tops At the grade school where all 3 grandson's went and Evan still does You have a small card with the child's name on it and the parent has to let the school know. You can list up to 3 peoples. If you wait in the car line for pickup you have a number.

Hello everyone!! Anick., prayers for Teddy! Tango is being very picky, too! But at least he will eat something, even if it isn't what you want him to eat!! Dee, Ward looks very relaxed in that picture. I know he is sleeping but he looks peaceful. It must make you feel good to know he appears to be at peace. i hope next time he will be awake so you can interact with him. Prayers for your cousin! Carol, sorry the mower was too heavy for you! I had to give away my Kirby vacuum cleaner for the same reason!! Laura, I have Prime, and yes, the price has gone up every years it seems! But the nice thing is I can ship anywhere for free! So at Christmas, presents to all my friends get shipped for free! Also, they have some good prime video!! Marty, I hope Angels Hershey & Winkie does well on the CBD oil! You were smart to do a little research and not just jump on the first thing!! Kathy, I hope Stephen is doing okay! Isn't his operation soon? I'm glad they showed you how to do the film so it works a little better!!

Lisa, I do have a thundershirt for Pippi and pulled it out the other night. Wouldn't you know we didn't end up with thunderstorms. It's back away, but I know where it is now. The cabin, cooler weather and the smell of the pines all sound wonderful. I think the cooler air sounds the best. Dee, I'm sorry Ward didn't wake up while you were there. I think it would be hard not to be able to give him a while there. I'm sure no news is good news with your cousin. Hopefully you will hear an update soon. I think waiting is so hard. Anick, wow. I didn't realize they could do a valve replacement without opening the chest. That is amazing and wonderful. Hope your father has been doing well since. Did he notice a big difference in how he felt after the repair? Glad to hear Teddy snagged a bite of roast beef. Hope that will entice him again. Carol, that is a shame the new mower is heavier, but good that Tracy can buy it for Brian. That will work out well. Poor Pippi hasn't had a great day. First I was vacuuming. That alone can ruin her day. I think that may be worse than the mail man. She always tries to bite the vacuum cleaner and lately tries to bite the cord and barks non-stop. So as if that wasn't bad enough I put a muzzle on her while I was vacuuming. She had tried to bite the cord one too many times and I didn't want her zapped. Even with the muzzle on she was trying to bite it the little stinker. She was glad when I stopped. Then I had set a dog bed out of one of the chairs and onto a stool for the moment. Pippi climbed up on one chair, went over onto the dog bed on the stool. Problem was the dog bed was wider than the stool and stepped too close to the edge that was hanging over and fell off. Then she was stuck between the (wooden) stool and a dresser, plus had landed on some pieces of wood on the floor below. No yelps, no limping or anything like that, but moving a little slower the rest of the day. Hoping a good night sleep will be all she needs to be more herself. A little worried about her back. Her injury last year ... she was fine the evening it happened, but couldn't walk right the next morning. So fingers that nothing there has been re-injured. -Laura (Pippi, Cheeky, Inky and Nimbus)

Good morning everyone. Anick for Teddy that he eats soon but at least he got your sandwich in his belly maybe that will encourage him. Anick we have to stay 6 feet away so can't even touch him with gloves there is a 6 foot table between him and us. Yes medicine has improved I did get to talk to my cousin on the phone for a few minutes she was hurting but said not as bad when she first got in there. She woke up at 4:30 In the morning with bad neck and back pains drove herself to the hospital I asked why she didn't call 911 she said the hospital only 6 miles from her house and their 911 a person could die by the time they arrive. When she got to the hospital and they asked where she was having pain and she told them while driving it started shooting down her left arm so they immediately took her in the back ran test called her heart doctor he got there at 5:30 am and told her she was one lucky person another hour she would have been dead as she had her left side 100 percent blocked so that evening at 6 pm they did an atrial procedure and put 2 stints in her. Told her she will be off work a couple weeks and not to lift anything heaver than a can of dog food. She had to hang up they gave her a sleeping pill it was starting to take effect. Carol I have pictures above of your pocket shawl and you should get it Friday. I understand that mower being heavy to lift. Nice Tracey is getting one like it for Brian to cut grass Laura so sorry Pippi fell from the doggie bed but glad no limps and hopefully no damage poor Pippi having to wear a muzzle but if he is chewing cords it is the best thing for his safety. Lisa hoping Tango starts eating soon he is in our prayers too along with Teddy and Hershey I was relieved when the vet told me all the things in Tori bloodwork were within range just have to keep an eye on them. He did spot the other tumor on her belly between her two back legs same size as the one on her side I told him she doesn't seem affected by it. Marty how are things at your household Hugs Dee & Tori

Laura, my Father's recovery was pretty fast, he did start to feel better less then 3 weeks after the surgery and now he is back to building back his stamina, he is no longer short of breath or tired like he was and is starting back on the activity he as not been able to do for some time. We are lucky to have one of the top Heart center here with a lot of research being done there and that did help him a lot from the time they did discover his problem to the time of the surgery.
Teddy as never been a picky eater before but he also never was food motivated. I was giving him his food, he was eating and that was it. On the other hand his Daddy Moss was the champ of picky eating and had been a nightmare to feed all his life.

Dee, the shawl really turned out nicely, and the length looks good. I love that sun porch you are on, too. Boy think of all the people dogs could and bark at from that. hehe. My sun porch - the windows seem high, but it does help with the barking sometimes. I'm glad you got to talk with your cousin and glad she is doing well. Thank goodness she made it to the hospital safely and didn't pass out and have an accident. Hope she will have a speedy recovery. Trust me, I hated to put the muzzle on Pippi, but I was worried about her safety. She just wouldn't leave the cord alone. Little stinker. And I am happy to say she is doing okay today. She had a little trouble getting up last night and I was really afraid she had re-injured her back. I gave her some rimadyl I still had on hand. She has been napping lots today and maybe moving a little slower, but otherwise seems good. Thank goodness! Yay for normal blood work for Tori! Always good to hear. Anick, fantastic about your dad. That is great he is no longer short of breath or tired and even better that he is able to do things he hadn't been able to. I have often said I would know something was wrong with my crew if they weren't eating, especially Pippi. She can be a little piggy and is very food motivated. Cheeky used to have a lot of digestive problems and wouldn't want to eat from time to time. I always found that so distressing. The vet said it was probably more distressing for me than for her. hehe. Dutchess started losing her appetite and didn't realize it until later, but was likely due to kidney problems in her case. I'm glad Teddy is interested in some of your food. Hopefully he will have more of his appetite back soon. - Laura (Pippi, Cheeky, Inky and Nimbus)

Dee the shawl is gorgeous! Glad Tori's blood work ous good!
Anick, sorry Teddy is not eating. We pray his appetite return! We found Tango will eat chicken sandwich meat at least!
Laura, that is Very scary! Hope Pippi doesn't have any lasting affects from her fall! A muzzle huh? That does not sound fun for her.
Carol, Leslie, Marty, Kathy, hope you're all well!
