Leslie, I ended up over at my dad's house again today. I hadn't planned to, but wasn't surprised when he asked if I could. Got smart, so I thought, this time and took my laptop. Thought I could check posts here and such. Got one thread done and then he said he'd drive me home after one show ended in about 10 minutes. (He had picked me up after his physical therapy so I could drive him home. It is near my house.) So I closed down the computer and thought I would be ready to leave and not keep him waiting. Meanwhile he fell back asleep in his chair. Doh! Should have kept the laptop out. hehe. Hmm. Dee, I think I have Dallas' birthday down as May 11 on my list. Have I got the wrong day? I'm sure the pink dress is going to be lovely. And done before you can blink! Ginger, I sure hope they can get to the bottom of what is going on with your knee. I was hoping the shots you had at the ER would give you more relief, at least for a while. I also hope PT will bring some relief, too. I am sure my neighbor thinks I am nuts at times, too, Carol. Mine caught me reading out loud to my crew one day. BOL! - Laura (Pippi, Cheeky, Inky and Nimbus)

Leslie, when I adopted Tango, we didn't know his birthday, so I just picked the same as mine. When Chuck got here, he already had that birthday! Haha! Ginger, I am so sorry about your knee and am they can do something for you! Before my back surgery, I had to live with it for about 3 or four months. It just took that long to get all the exams and then seeing the surgeon, etc. I think I was luckier than most! Oh Anick, a succulent! I bet I COULD grow some!! Carol. I think my neighbors think I am crazy, too. Between Chuck and I, we have six dogs, seven before Tango passed. Laura, I'm glad the link worked this time. I probably screwed it up!! I'm glad you were able to go help your dad. I am jealous!! Dee, it's a good excuse to celebrate for the whole month!!

Good morning everyone Happy Friday Laura if you have May 11 for Dallas I probably gave it to you and it is wrong when the vet thought both were the same age I came home looked through my paperwork and Dallas date of birth May 8, 2012 and Tori date of birth May 21, 2011 so Tori is one year older than Dallas. Not your mistake Laura mine Annette nice that you got your plants from the pots to the garden\ Ginger you are in my prayers with all the pain you are going through hope you can find some relief Anick I think I understand why people now prefer just to call then hens and chickens Lisa I like the idea of celebrating the whole month. Leslie how are things your end I posted on facebook my purple flowers out front bloomed I guess with all this rain waiting for the yellow ones to bloom their bush is getting very green. Jerry called came to cut the grass he was using the riding lawn mower in back yard when Lisa came later with a UDF chocolate shake for me and had one for Jerry she put in the freezer till he finished the grass then she used the push mower for the front yard and the grass was pretty high. They even surprised me came in and sat for 10 minutes while Jerry drank his shake. Going to Rosemarie house this morning for games bringing the deviled eggs I made as they are celebrating mother's day this afternoon at 3:30 as Di daughter Tina coming with all the kids so I go back at 3:30 to join the celebration we will probably play more games after dinner. Di made Lasagna for the adults and tuna noodle casserole for kids as they love the tuna noodle casserole. Hugs Dee, Tori and Dallas

Lisa, I'm glad I am able to help my dad. Don't get me wrong. But a lot of my time there has been spent sitting on the couch watching the tv with the volume way up while he naps in his chair. Still glad I can help out though. Hi Annette. Glad you found your way back. Have you finished planting things or still have more to go? Dee, I'll get Dallas' birthday fixed on the list. It's a good thing this came up anyway. For some reason I had her on the 11th and listed after something else on the 15th. Doh! Looks like May is going to be a busy month for celebrations. Woo-hoo! That is so nice that Jerry and Lisa take care of the yard for you. And a bonus to get a chocolate shake and a visit. And how was the early mother's day celebration? Well, here is your giggle for the day. I was "mowing" (weed eating the whole yard) this morning when part of the weed eater flew off and the spool of weed eater line fell out. The piece that holds the line spool in place had broken in two. I just had a little left and wanted to get it finished up. So I thought what can I do for a temporary fix. Came up with an idea and while working on it I kept thinking YOU MIGHT BE A REDNECK IF ... while I used duck tape to make my temporary repair. Took it outside, tried it out ... and apparently I am not a redneck or need more practice with duck tape. It didn't work. This does have a happy ending though. That part must break a lot. Because I found a replacement part easily at Lowes and it was only about $5. It was also easier than trying to put duck tape on the broken part. hehe. - Laura (Pippi, Cheeky, Inky and Nimbus)

Pippi, my boyfriend is originally from South Dakota and is very proud to be a redneck! And HE probably could have jerry rigged something to work! Glad the piece was easily replaced! bertie, what kinds of plants do you have? We have tomatoes, bell peppers and hot peppers right now. And some white flowers. DALLAS what a very nice surprise for Lisa to bring you a CHOCOLATE shake and for them to VISIT and do the yard!! Yay! Daisy & Josey, mommy would have more pets if she could!!

Good morning everyone Happy Saturday Carol you are not crazy you are a loving person who loves animals and enjoys taking care of them. The most animals I have had at one time is 3 that was Sabrina, Abigale June and Tori. My facebook page had a picture of all of us when we first moved back to Kentucky it makes me that daddy, Sabrina and Abigale June are all gone but happy that they are together taking care of each other. Lisa I was shocked to get the chocolate shake from Lisa and that they stopped in for a visit normally after cutting grass they hurry up. I guess that was my Mother's Day Gift a shake and a visit as Jerry said they are celebrating Mother's Day with Lisa daughter Lindsey but not sure if it will be Saturday or Sunday depending on Lindsey schedule. Laura I envy you spending time with your dad even though he falls asleep in the chair I miss my dad. Sorry to hear your weed Wacker broke but glad you were able to fix it you are talented in so many ways in fixing your place. The early celebration for Mother's Day at Rosemarie house was good Di fixed lasagna and it was delicious then we all had to gather together while they exchanged gifts I felt out of place then after the gift exchange I thanked them for the dinner and said good bye it was getting dark a storm was brewing that was 4:30 but the storm hit at 9:30 woke Dallas up barking running up to my chest scared as the thunder cracked right above our house I petted her said it was only thunder then the rain came. No damage but certainly a very noisy storm. Today have to take Rosemarie shopping but she informed me yesterday she is not going to California till August (that is when I go to Florida with my sister but not sure the same week) as her cousin Lisa has to go to open a store in Mexico in May so they can't go to California. Hugs, Dee, Tori & Dallas

Lisa, would Chuck's weed eater fix have involved duck tape? hehe I may have spotted a little green bean plant that has popped up yesterday. And Anick, I need to try the aluminum pie plates or something because I keep spotting the squirrels near there and finding little holes that have been dug. I guess the most pets I have had at one time is six. Four dogs and two cats ... Pippi, Cheeky, Pixie, Dutchess, Patches and Sweetpea. Dee, for missing Ward, Sabrina and Abigale June. Um, I'm not sure talented is the word I would use for trying to fix things. More like poor, and don't always think I can afford to replace or have someone else do it. I was glad the replacement part was inexpensive. I'm glad the storm didn't hit while you were driving home from Rosemarie's, but sorry it woke you up. And sorry it upset Dallas. Something woke me up early this morning and I couldn't get back to sleep. I still feel sleepy though and feel like a zombie now. Hopefully I can grab a quick nap with the dogs this afternoon. - Laura (Pippi, Cheeky, Inky and Nimbus)

Good evening everyone!
Laura, l was woken up early today to and couldn't get back to sleep. So I've been tired all day. I did go grocery shopping and watered the garden.
I am definitely jealous you still have your parents. I've lost mom, my dad, my one blood brother and my step dad. I feel l lost a step sister, too, but that's another story.
Dee, glad you had a nice time yesterday but sorry you felt uncomfortable. I would have too.
Carol hope you had a great day!
Love you all, Lisa and The Wild Ones, Tango, Charly and Clarabelle
