Tango Mom and I really enjoyed reading all about Big Ben. Even mom, who reads a lot about England, didn't know all those facts about Big Ben. That's odd that they aren't sure where the name came from, since there should be plenty of news sources from 1859. And there was something so upliftingly patriotic about this in that time of World War: "Big Ben has rarely stopped. Even after a bomb destroyed the Commons chamber during the Second World War, the clock tower survived and Big Ben continued to strike the hours." 🥹 willy 😮 I never thought about how loud Big Ben must be from inside! 🎧🙉 Dallas, they do have daylight savings time there. You are right, that would take a lot of winding, BOL.
