Deb, I bet there is a library or media center on the campus! Just make sure you get it postmarked today! Leslie I know chicken and waffles are a big thing. That doesn't really appeal to me though. I like them best with strawberries and whipped cream! Anick, I am glad those eyedrops really help! I get headaches but I don't think they are migraines. I usually take a combo of acetaminifen and ibu profin and that does the job. Carol I know those girls keep you on your toes!! Dee, are you making the quilt for someone, or will you sell it? I bet it is going to be gorgeous! Oh, look at all the book quilts! I love them. The ones with the kids reading would be great for a children's librarian! I like the bookcase one, though. It would be a great way to use up scrap material! Sending healing vibes to Buddy and Pippi ! I made a long tie with the scrap from my constellations dress after I shortened it. I was planning to use it as a headband or a belt or something.

I love the library quilts, too! How much do you charge for a quilt? Do you have cat and dog ones? Or one with Pupsters and Kitsters on it? I couldn't find the IT office, which I need for computer related things. I also couldn't find the downtown LA library. I did make it to my class though. Today was a frustrating day for me. Tomorrow has to be better, doesn't it? Take care everyone!

Quilts are always beautiful, I would not even know where to start to make one.
I did spend all day yesterday trying to fix my greenhouse that was damaged by my neighbours, not the airbnb but the neighbours on the other side of my yard, yes, I am stuck between 2 very bad neighbours. I did manage to fix the greenhouse with docktap but I know it's death is near with the constant damage made to it.

Good morning Happy Tuesday Anick we are sorry to hear death is near for your greenhouse with the damage your neighbors did to it. I wish you could sue them get the money to get a new greenhouse. Rough being besides 2 bad neighbors when I was in Kentucky i had one bad neighbor on one side and good neighbor on the other side. If you get a it has all the material except baking and you just sew it together the way it tells you. Mommy did a quilt once for her friend Patti in purple her favorite color was purple. Deb the charge on teh quilt depends on how much material one uses and if shipping out of state plus shipping and some for time. Most of the quilts I have made I did not sell them they were given as a gift, I did one for a friend in Cairn Talk Maria with Corgi charged her $50 as I had to ship to her and it was a lap quilt not a full or king size. Sorry you could not find the library but made it on time to your class. Lisa I am with you if I have waffles I want strawberry and whip cream on the top of it. Lisa the nurses quilt is for Susan in our crafts group not selling it. The book case one would be great for using up scrap material and it is nice. The kids reading would be similar to this nurses quilt. How nice you made a long scrap from the dress you shortened to use as a headband or scarf. I bet you could make a quilt Diane we are sending loads of prayers for Buddy Laura sending loads of prayers for Pippi Leslie I am glad you like the quilts did you ever make any quilts for a librarian My happy today is I have chair volleyball at 9:30 then crafts and taking in the bear I finished for them to see Hugs, Dee, Dallas and Belle

Good afternoon ladies!! Leslie, I know you have made some absolutely beautiful quilts! Have you ever made one with books? Deb, if you want a real, well made, beautiful quilt, like what Dee and Leslie make they are not cheap, but well worth the money!!! If however, you just want something that looks good, you can find plenty online that cost about $50 at Fair House, like this one: Oh, I wanted to tell you that on the news they said something about if you are receiving money back, you DON'T have to file! And actually, that whenn you finaly do, they pay you interest! (They didn't say how much and I'm sure it isn't much, but hey, why not!) Anick, I am so sorry that the neighbors damaged your greenhouse! I wonder if it would be worth your while to install a video camera, so you can prove who did the damage! I sure hope it can be saved! Dee, I bet they will LOVE the bear!! Glad chair volleyball is back, too!! I sure hope when I retire that my senior center does some fun stuff! Carol, what kinds of flowers did you plant! I found this cool site that you put in your zip code to find your "zone" and then it will tell you want plants to plant to attract hummers!! My happy today is my supervisor is moving to another department. I LIKE her as a supervisor and she has been good to me, but what makes me happy is my office mate is up for her position and I hope she gets it! The other lady who applied would be great, too. I COULD have applied but I really, really do not want to supervise!!

I love all of these quilts. I wish I had the talent to do quilting, but I don't!
Anick, sorry your neighbors damaged your greenhouse. Can it be moved maybe to a safer spot in your yard. Unfortunately duct tape can only do so much.
Lisa, I understand about not applying for that job as I have been in that situation.
Buddy has had 3 good days now. I think his diarrhea can be linked to the water he decided to drink that was in the ditch from the spring run off. Sometimes he doesn't put 2 and 2 together and understand what he is eating or drinking may not be good for him.
Hope everyone had a good day

Yes, Buddy is a good boy! Anick, how awful about your greenhouse! I hope it doesn't set you back too much, if so can you set up a GoFundMe? The quilts are great, but I was hoping to buy something I can use from one of our quilters here. Lisa, I don't blame you for not wanting to supervise. That's not my cup of tea, either. Have a good one, everyone!!

Good morning Happy Wednesday Deb it is nice you would like to buy something from one of us quilters but realize our crafts are more expensive that what you can buy online. We are not out to make a quick buck we take into consideration the material we have to buy which is not cheap, the batting and thread. Then add a little for our time. so may run more than the $50 or $89 to get photo quilts online. Diane we wish our dogs would sense something they are about to do would harm them and not do it but he was thirsty it was water and he drank it but we are glad to hear he is doing much better. Well you do have a sister who does quilt and she can make you a quilt. Lisa I did not know if you are getting money back you do not need to file a form but how do you know you are getting money back unless you complete the form. I know Florida is talking about no car insurance needed in some areas so that makes things risky if people don't have car insurance and crash into you. That is a beautiful cat quilt. Carol that is wonderful your husband helped you make a small flower garden out back I am sure it will grow beautifully. You be safe with those storms Leslie you have so many beautiful quilts you should put the link here it has been awhile and people can check out all your talent. Laura we miss you and hope Pippi is doing okay and you are getting some time for your music Anick I hope you can get another greenhouse away from those neighbors who destroyed the one you have Well in crafts yesterday i finished another bear brought it home and put clothes on it so next Tuesday will take to crafts/ Today at 1 going to the clubhouse for our Bocce Luncheon it is covered dish I made devilled eggs to take to the luncheon. Hugs Dee, Dallas and Belle

Diane, I am so glad Buddy has had three good days! Boy, our dogs can be so clueless!! You know, I think I could LEARN to do quilting but I just do not have the patience!! Deb, that would be very nice! I am lucky as I have stuff from both Leslie and Dee! I also have some lap quilts from Nancy Johnson, who owned to dog Dayzee in Dogster. She has since passed away but I bought a lot of her little quilts. Dee, that bear is very cute!!! That is a good point about how to know if you are due money or not. The first year I filed, back when I was 18, I was getting money back from the Feds and just assumed I was getting money back from the state. I wasn't, so got a penalty for that! 10% for filing late and 10% for paying late. Leslie. how is Mr. Murphy doing? Is it starting to warm up there? We are supposed to get to triple digits by next week. Laura, I hope Pippi is doing well! Please give her kisses from me! Anick, what kind of damage was done to the greenhouse? Are you able to find a more permanent solution beside duct tape? I wish I could send Chuck because he is really good at MacGyvering things!! My happy today is this is my half day and I will do my grocery shopping and then I have beans and ham in the slow cooker so will only have to make the corn bread!

The greenhouse cannot be moved, it is now too fragile to do so. I got pictures of the damages and I did contact a lawyer because the people who does damage it didn't want to hear a thing about it. The problem is that there is a law that say that you are responsible of the damages done to another person's property if you have a structure that send your rain water or snow outside of your own property. That law means that they should pay for a new greenhouse BUT they got a special permission from the city to do so because their yard is small so they now have the right to destroy stuff in my yard because of that and I only have the right to shut up about it.
