Attachment Deletedood morning eveeryone Happy Thursday. Pooks Molly I am with you love the fenced in yard and you have been having a lot of high temperatures in the 90's we have been in the high 70's or low 8-'s today hitting 87 Pippi love you goggles when mommy used to take Tiffany outside she always put sunglasses on her shocking pink ones. Mommy wishes the meeting was in the building too as she was going to stop in and see daddy but unfortunately not they said it is a phone meeting. Wild Ones we don't blame you for not putting Tango through ultra sound to determine if she has a tumor like the vet wanting to cut out the tumors Tori has and do a biopsy on them though she is much younger than Tango mommy knows Sabrina last surgery for her bladder stones when we moved back to Kentucky in 2016 she never fully got back to herself. I think they helped set her into dementia precious one ate but kept getting up not sleeping walking then finally fell to the floor unable to walk and started crying it was rough watching her with dementia and Ward with it such a terrible disease just enjoy Tango while you still have Tango. Hershey hope you have fun on your car adventure and you don't run into in fireworks where you are going. I stay in my house and neighbors are shooting them off right outside our door and have been doing it all week and not even the 4th yet. Toby you better stay inside with air conditioner with that heat you are having. Willy hope you are having a good time

I hope none of our neighbors decide to set off fireworks. It has been hot and dry for ling enough that the grass is brittle and dried. On top of that, they scare the crap out of the wildlife. Hey wait, maybe that is good. We have a bad raccoon in the neighborhood who needs to go!

Daisy & Josey we hear you on wishing it would rain at night to put a damper on the fireworks. Damper, that's a good one. hehe. TheWildOnes we sure are sorry to hear a diagnosis of dementia for Tango, but will be glad that he eats and sleeps well and is in no pain. Gentle for him. I hope you will see some improvement with the supplements. That's not something we've had to deal with for any of our pets before. Are there any natural remedies besides that supplements that might help? I know there isn't a cure, but anything to ease it. for mommy as well. I'm sure it's hard to watch and see those changes. I don't think my mom would put any of us through testing or treatment for a tumor, especially in an older pet. Mom had a vet fuss at her one time because she wouldn't test a 21 or 22 year old cat for thyroid problems and medicate her. Now, for a little background ... 1. The cat had been tested a year or so before and thyroid was fine. 2. The vet was basing this solely on the cat's meow. She thought it sounded like a cat with thyroid problems. The meow hadn't changed. 3. The cat and mom would have been miserable with trying to get a pill down the cat every day. and 4. Mom had already been told a year or two earlier that the cat was 7 years past the average life span of a cat. So mom opted not to test and not to treat if there was a thyroid problem. The cat lived to be 23. Now she did have kidney problems and mom did change her diet, but felt the other was, first of all unlikely, and second just not going to make the cat happy. Hmm. Sorry I got going on that so much. Mom still doesn't appreciate the lecture she got over it. hehe Angels Hershey & Winkie what fun going on an adventure! Hope you and your family have a lot of fun with that. We will be ready to hear about it when you get back. So far we haven't had a lot of fireworks going off in the neighborhood. We usually have the big city of Alcoa fireworks show just a hop, skip and a jump from our house and that sure is noisy, but they are not doing it this year. So far we have only heard one evening with a little bit of fireworks. I imagine that will be different this weekend. Cheeky and I didn't bark at most of what they did the other night. Our noisy window a/c and a fan in the bedroom helps to drown out a lot of the noise. hehe. willy do they set off a lot of fireworks for Canada Day? DALLAS I'll bet Tiffany was so cute in her sunglasses. Do you have any pictures? I sure hope you will get a good report for daddy when you have the phone call. I also hope they can give you a time line for when you can visit again, and sure hope it will be soon. UsurpingToby grandma used to feed a family of raccoons. They were so cute. That was back when mom was living there. They named them all George except one that was much smaller than the rest. That was Petunia. They would save food scraps to put out. They would see them out the window and say the Georges are here. They would let mom and grandma get pretty close. I'm sorry your raccoon isn't behaving. We don't see any here at our house, and that often surprises mom. We have a gazillion squirrels though. Mom thinks she spotted the baby Blue Jay yesterday. She hasn't had much time to sit and watch the birds, so she is not sure. Well, she has had a little time in the afternoons, bu it's been too hot lately to watch then. Mom was grumpy a little while ago. She was trying to set up something to extend our wireless network for better coverage out on the sun porch. It took much longer than she had planned and what was happening was not what the manual said it would be, but mom finally got it working. Now mom can work out there ... if it's not too hot. hehe. Before the network kept dropping a lot, but doing good right now. We're out here just to test it and then we are going back in to cool off.

Good afternoon pals! Angels Hershey & Winkie , a 2 sleeps adventure! How fun is that! (Mommy is glad to hear you say you like the life gold. She said she will try putting it in his food instead of squirting it in his mouth!) DALLAS we are so sorry to hear about Sabrina's dementia. We sure hope Tango's doesn't get that bad. So far, it isn't. Daisy & Josey , isn't A/C the best invention since sliced bread? UsurpingToby , sorry your raccoon is such a pisser. But the babies are SO cute!!! willy , what did you do to celebrate Canada Day? Pippi , mommy will have to do some research and see what else might help Tango. Oh, we agree about the cat! We had a cat once who had this really bad weeping eye prob;em and mommy had to chase her down to put in eye drops. It got to the pint where she was afraid of mommy and she just couldn't keep doing that to her, even though it helped. Hope you DID see the Blue Jay baby!

Um, hello! I think a/c is WAY better than sliced bread. I mean how hard is it to slice bread anyway? And besides. if I'm slicing my own bread I can have a great big thick slice, not some low calorie slice that is low calorie because the slice is so thin you can see through it. A/c ... no contest. hehe. The humidity yesterday and today have felt awful. We really have been lucky that it wasn't worse this spring, but I think it is back with a vengeance now.

I forgot to post this earlier. Mom still needs to sand and stain the top, but the dresser is back out on the sun porch. Drawer got fixed today. The top may wait for cooler weather. hehe. Behind it you can see our poor man's re upholstery job with a sheet on the wicker sofa. Matches nicely with the dresser. Mom can't wait until she can do something about the floor. It's just painted plywood. (The sides and part of the top of the dresser used to match the floor. Not only in color but in paint coming off in places. hehe) Mom may see about painting the floor another color until she can afford to put down new flooring. Ignore the plywood and other junk in the picture. You just have to do like mom does ... put your blinders on and you don't see those things. BOL! Attachment Deleted

Woof, everyfur! This will be my last visit until we come back home in three sleeps! We're leaving early tomorrow. Mommy's packing up all my meds and towels and blankies and evfurrything. Daddy's in charge of my foodz and treats. I think they take some of their own stuff, too.
We have raccoons here. Twice we've had them in the house, behind the grate in the furnace closet. Once it was two little babies. Mommy said they were furry cute but furry scared. I just barked and barked at them! Tey got in through a hole under our house, but that's plugged up now.
We don't have AC here. I know, you're all SO surprised, BOL!!
TheWildOnes, it wasn't me, it was Winkie who got the Life Gold. Mommy squirted it in his mouf. He was good about stuff like that. I get drops in my eyeballs and in my ears. I didn't like it at furst, but I get treats befure, and after if I'm good. So I'm good!
Everyfur have a fun 4th of July! I hope there are no fireworks if you don't like them. Stay close to your pawrents, they'll keep you safe.

Good morning everyone Happy Friday Hershey you and your folks have a fun filled car adventure but be safe traveling Pooks Molly maybe you will get some rain at night to cool things down Toby so you want noisy fireworks to scare away that mean old raccoon. Pippi I fully understand you not wanting to test a cat that was over 20 years old sometimes I think these vets are just after money and really not concerned for the pets. I can't find pictures of Tiffany when my computer broke down last year they were unable to get anything from the letter Q so I lost pictures of my Tiffany and Sabrina. Wild Ones we hope the supplements help Tango Jerry and Lisa came to cut grass last night he said he had gotten a call they were going to allow outside visitations for patients and set up a schedule but that his mom won't be allowed to do that because her roommate tested positive for the virus so they were testing his mom and no visitations till they get the results back from her test. Unless ward's nursing home tells me that when they call me on July 7 at 1 to discuss his care but will ask when I will be able to see him. Oh the gentleman that I was making cocoons for his Pro Life Organization he picked up the 25 babies I had finished and brought the rest for me to do along with a $50 gift card for Meijer Department Store which was nice since he supplies the yarn I do. Pippi I love the dresser your mommy did a wonderful job. Willy how was your Canada Day did you celebrate Well I finished the baby set for my brother to give the couple in his church in bubble gum pink. Attaching the blanket open and the whole set on the chair

Thanks guys!!!! All celebrations of Canada Day have been cancel, our virus numbers are dropping fast but the Government doesn't want to take any chances and get people infect by having celebration so there was only a show on TV that was done in studio without a crowd. No fireworks this year too so it was all quiet.
The thing about moving on July first did come about when my province did put together a commission to protect renters. People can move outside of that date but making most people moving the same day make it easier to find an apartment that will be free to move in on moving day, it give people more choices.

UsurpingToby the dresser used to sit over in the corner and the kitties could lay there and look out two directions. Now it is back from the window and they are not as impressed. hehe. Angels Hershey & Winkie raccoons in the house? Oh my. The Georges were always outside. Petunia, too. I don't think mom would want them inside. I'll bet they smelled interesting though. No a/c?!! OMD are we more jealous than ever. I don't know how we would make it without a/c here. DALLAS it was very shortly after that incident with the cat that mom started asking for a specific vet at the practice we go to. It used to be a father/son team and a couple of others. The father is still there, and that is the one we always ask for. He is not about the money, but cares more about the health and well being of the pet. He often looks for ways for mom to save money when we are there and mom appreciates that. The son moved out of state. He was all about the money. The lady that fussed at mom - I think she is still there. They may be down to three there now. The one that replaced the son may actually be a son-in-law. Not sure. We've seen him a couple of times and he seems good, too. He seems like the father and not about the money. That sounds encouraging if Jerry's mom's nursing home is getting ready to start allowing visitors. I sure hope his mom won't test positive for the virus. Have they moved her out of the room or is she still with the roommate? How nice that the man brought the gift card for mommy. That was kind that he acknowledged her time. Hope mommy can find something fun to get with the gift card. You do such lovely work. Will you be seeing your brother soon to give him the set? willy public fireworks shows have been cancelled here for 4th of July, but there will probably still be lots that set off their own. Sadly our virus numbers are shooting up in TN. Sheesh to think a month or so ago I was upset because our numbers had gone up to 400 new cases a day. Here the last little bit the state is seeing 1500-1800 new cases a day. Mom really wonders how much of that was protesters gathering, and how much is fewer and fewer people wearing masks. That along with mom felt they were opening some things back up too quickly. Like the community pool and various sports teams for the summer, restaurants able to have groups of 10 at a table, groups of 50 being allowed to gather at various places. Things like that. Mom caught the tail end of an update from the governor yesterday and there was mention that we may have to take some steps backwards. Luckily the county we are in is not as bad as some, but the county next to us on one side is. Still not as bad as some other larger cities, but we still hate to see it. Think we now have about 60 active cases in our county. The one next to us is getting close to 500 active cases. Okay. Climbing off that soap box. hehe. We're enjoying a little time out on the sun porch this morning before it gets too hot. The squirrels have been little piggies at all the feeders today. Mom has filled the feeders and the squirrels have leaped onto them and tipped them. Mom would like to fill them again and give the birds a chance but the squirrels are still hanging around. They used to be content to spend most of their time at the feeder on the side of the house, but lately they seem to be hitting everything hard.

Cool, a Bridge party!! Happy barkday!
I heard on TV that fireworks are dirt cheap this year, so more private people are likely buying them. I can hear a few in this area going off already.
Tori, I am so happy for your Mommy! It is so nice that someone recognizes her hard work.
Have fun on your trip, Hershey!

Angels Hershey & Winkie , we hope you have a safe, fun trip!! You'll have to tell us all about it!! (Sorry, we remember it was Winkie! We appreciate the info, though, and mommy put it on Tango's food tonight and he ate it all up!) Pippi , we agree! Here in AZ, they reopened in May and how we are having 3000 - 5000 cases every day!! Your dresser looks SO pretty!! We love the color and yes, it matches that wicker couch perfect! Oh, and good point about the A/C!!! Daisy & Josey , happy birthday to Walker and Alexandria! We didn't realize they were siblings! DALLAS that bubblegum set is SO adorable!! How nice for him to give your mommy a gift card!! (Sorry mommy lost her pictures of Sabrina and Tiffany! We know how much that can hurt!) willy , that is so smart of your country!! Some of our cities have cancelled celebrations and a few have made aptations, like staying in your car and requiring masks. UsurpingToby how did Geordie take his Life Gold? Mommy tried putting it in the water, but we wouldn't drink it!
