Attachment DeletedGood morning everyone Happy Saturday and Happy 4th of July have fun but be safe Willy that is good that all fireworks cancelled. for the information about why they have it as moving day Pooks Molly Happy Birthday to Walker and Alexandria. Your neighbors shooting off firecrackers all week like our neighbors they have been shooting them in front of our house all week and probably the week after today. They sure are noisy just glad it doesn't bother Tori like it did Sabrina and AJ. Toby interested that fireworks are dirt cheaper I know they have a large supplies in the grocery store . Wild Ones mommy adds the Life Gold to Tori dog food when she feeds her and she gulps the stuff down. Pippi mommy doesn't know when her brother will be here to visit her he has his church picnic today and he picked up his twin grandsons from Mexico the other day I am sure he will be here before the couple has their baby Hershey for safe travels for you and your family It was a day for mommy she follows this miniature schnauzer named Kor Kor on all his outings he is 19.5 years old from China a lady takes in dogs that no one else wants she had Kor Kor since a pup well he died yesterday so and then to hear Krickette who looks like Sabrina was in our dogster group for years her mom Sandy died about 5 years ago I think of cancer well yesterday I was informed Krickette went to the bridge and mommy just started crying as Krickette just seemed like a family member knowing her all those years. Well today no plans staying home to crochet the newborn dolls cocoons.

Daisy & Josey Happy Birthday (a day late) to Walker and Alexandria! I saw we party all week long anyway. hehe. We heard some fireworks last night. Mom peeked out the window to see if she could see anything pretty, but seems mostly people were just setting off noisy things. Mom says if we have to listen to them they ought to at least be pretty. Daisy & Josey we worry about the outside kitties here, too. That and the wildlife in general. Must be terrifying to them. Yay TheWildOnes . Glad Tango liked his Life Gold on his food. Mom had to laugh at our vet one time. Cheeky has been on one medication for years and years. It's a liquid and if they add a flavoring to it she takes it just fine. Well, we got a refill one time and Cheeky wouldn't have anything to do with it. Mom would squirt it in her mouth and Cheeky would spit it out. So she called the vet and they said bring it back and they can add some flavoring. So mom dropped it off and said she would be back later to pick it up. When she went back the vet came out to the front desk to talk to her. He said he didn't blame Cheeky for not taking it. He said he tasted it and it was awful. BOL! I'm happy to say that with the flavoring in it Cheeky was back to taking it just fine. DALLAS . I'm sorry about the losses of Kor Kor and Krickette. I think this isolation makes us feel some of those things even more. TheWildOnes does your state have any plans to reinstate any restrictions since virus counts are going up? Ours mentioned it might be a possibility, and encouraged everyone to wear masks and stay home if you can. Mom sees fewer and fewer people wearing masks it seems. Mom went out and worked on the wood chips again for a little bit this morning. She did about 45 minutes yesterday and about another 45 minutes today. You can see a dent in the pile that is left. She was hoping all those chips would keep her from having to mow for a month, but you can see some grass creeping up through. Doh! Anyway, now that she is done playing in the yard she says she is getting a shower shortly and we are taking it easy the rest of the day. She threatened to give us a bath. Frankly since I got my nails done the other day and Cheeky didn't I think Cheeky should get a bath and I shouldn't, don't you? Tee hee hee. Happy 4th of July!!

Thank you all for the BD wishes for Walker and Sweet Alexandria Yes they are siblings Mommy and dad got them home, 1 day apart. They came from dads niece. First Walker came to visit for the day and the niece called mommy and said she could just keep him. Then the next day they got Sweet Alexandria. They did every puppy vet visit together and also went at the same time to get fixed. The vet had them in cages across from each other and of course Alex cried. They spent 2 nights there. It was great to get them home Sorry about the doggie Tori. Everyone have a great 4th!!

What a lovely story about Walker and Sweet Alexandria! Belated happy barkday!
WO, mommy always gave Geordie the LG in soft food - hence all the Alpo-tooting stories😆 Geordie loved this one kind of Alpo, so that was what he got.
We were surprised at how many fireworks went off around here. They were in all directions, but they only lasted 30-45 min and were tasteful. (Yes, if you have to hear them, they should be pretty!)

Good morning eveeryone Happy Sunday Wild Ones sorry to hear about Mickey your pitbull celebrity having to be put down yesterday Toby hoping those fireworks in all directions did not bother you. Mommy heard loud booming but did not get up to see if there were any pretty ones going off. Pippi so your mommy spent some time working on the yard leaving the evening to do nothing. And we agree Pippi mommy should give Cheeky a bath not you. Pooks Molly we always keep up what is happening with your family on facebook. We loved the story of Walker and Alexandria Willy our neighbors were shooting off loud firecrackers but lucky Tori is not bothered by it like Sabrina and AJ were bothered. This morning I found out we lost another long time member of our schnauzer group Harley Davidson a therapy dog age 16 died yesterday of pancreatic he felt like a member of the family as mommy has known him for years so hearing that news set her to crying again. Well mommy got all the white newborn dolls crocheted with cocoons a total of 36 today she will start on the black ones.

There were fireworks , very loud all around us last night. Actually they were pretty. All us furs were just fine. Hobro and Husis and her bunch had some very loud ones that went up in the sky and made beautiful colorful stars shoot out. The family across the street had the same kind and also the prett little pompoms that are colorful and bounce around and not to noisy. Glad the loudest is over but people can still do them till July 9th.

Tori, I am sorry you are losing so many friends right now. That must be heart breaking. I hope that soon there are bunch of adoptions and the pitter patter of tiny Schnauzer paws to cheer you!
Pooks &Molly, it sounds like you had the perfect holiday with lots of pretty colors but not too much noise to disturb anyone.

UsurpingToby you lucked out more than we did. Like you, we have fireworks coming at us from every direction. Some houses did nice displays and they didn't last too terribly long. Others seemed to have the kind that do nothing but make noise. And either someone with REALLY deep pockets or a group of someones was setting things off for a long time over nearer the schools. We could see a lot of it and most of it was pretty, but it went on for getting close to 3 hours. A few doors down was the worst - theirs was the nothing but noise kind for the most part. I almost lost my voice barking at all of it. Mom went out when it first started (a little before 8 before it was even dark) and tried to get Callie (the stray cat) to come in on the sun porch. Callie was nearly to the door when something really loud went off and she took off. She ended up in some denser shrubs by the side of the house. Mom never could coax her out. Mom was sure glad to see her out and ready to be petted this morning. Poor little one. She was quite frightened last night. I'm not sure, but I think tonight may be the last night people are supposed to do them here. DALLAS I know I must sound like a broken record, but gosh you crochet quickly! You'll be done with this batch in no time. Well, mom was the only one that got a bath yesterday. And even though she didn't do a lot on the wood chips Friday or Saturday - about 45 minutes both days - she is hurting a lot today. So we don't have to worry much for a few days I think. hehe. Well, unless she decides to give us a bath in the kitchen sink. Then she doesn't have to lean over, but hopefully she isn't going to think of that. Shhhh. Another humid toasty day here. We sat out on the sun porch for a bit this morning while mom counted birds. She was all excited because she saw a couple of black capped chickadees and we haven't been seeing those very much at all lately. We stayed out there for about as long as we could stand it and now we plan to hide in the house the rest of the day.

Hide in the house. That is all we do anymore. Grumble, grumble...Toby
(Mommy’s rebuttal: It is 7:30 pm, and it is still 93 outside. Heck yeah we’re staying inside!)

Good evening everyone! Hot here, 111. Mom is staying in as well. Yesterday, we mostly did pretty good. Just a little nervous, except Sparkle, who was.org that a little nervous. Tango is deaf so wasn't bothered at all. Pippi mom sure feels bad for those outdoor furs! DALLAS mommy read about Harley too. So heartbreaking!

UsurpingToby my mom says she agrees with your mom. Well, Mother Nature decided to put on a show this afternoon. You should have seen the wind. And it was raining buckets. If it was raining cats and dogs than the dogs were St. Bernards I think. hehe. Cheeky and I were sitting out on the sun porch watching a little of the storm and we had one close lightening strike. Mom was afraid for a bit it had gotten our a/c. Mom saw the lightening flash, heard a sizzle, saw a spark near the outside portion of the a/c unit out of the corner of her eye and we felt and heard the thunder right away. Frankly I'm not sure why we were outside watching all this anyway when we have a perfectly nice house, but mom likes this kind of stuff. Thankfully we still have a working a/c. Whew! I'll give up my sliced bread but not my a/c. hehe.

Yikes, 111?!? And I thought our 98 high was bad! Do scorpions combust in the heat?
St. Bernards and cougars from the sound of it, Pippi! Glad you are safe. Also totally jealous of the rain. It’s so dry and crispy here.😬
