That is the hardest part about weave poles, remembering to get in them from the right side, the right side is the right side!
Well, Humanmom used to doggysite dogs and when the parents of those dogs were afraid they would be an handful Humanmom always told them that once you have lived with Border Collies you have seen it all and nothing can stress you about dogs anymore!
Teddy can go outside alone, he is Mr.Perfect, he only play with his toys nicely and walk around the backyard but me is not allow outside alone because of the flowerbeds fences that keep on swallowing me.....

Good morning everyone Happy Wednesday Pippi so sorry mommy got the rashes and has the itches we hope you try the Apple Cider Vinegar and it works for you. I bet your mommy is wishing she never got those wood chips especially if the wetness causes mold. That is smart for mommy not to let you out on your own because hawks and owls grab small dogs Willy you little stinker crashing through the screen door reminded mommy of her neighbors black lab named Harley got out of his fenced yard when they were gone mommy did not want him getting hit by a car or hurt so she put him on our screened in back porch this was in Florida and he did not like being confined he jumped through the screen out into the back yard and jumped over our 4 foot chain link fence. So mommy told him be good and wait for his parents on the front stoop and he did. The neighbor fixed mommy screen since their dog tore it up. Hershey glad you had a great time and your parents are planning on getting a stroller if they ever travel again. Wild Ones thank you Geordie Thank you Well the nursing home did call and said they are working with the health department in a couple weeks hopefully nothing for sure they will have outside visitation only we have to maintain 6 feet and wear mask. They are working on getting plexiglass to protect the patients and more chairs for outside visiting they will call mommy when it is set for sure and the time and date she can visit daddy. In the meantime all patients have been confined to their rooms and they have just started taking them out of their rooms for showers. The test they did on June 3 all came back negative so there is no one in their nursing home with the virus. Daddy is doing well they gave him 3 words to repeat and he repeated them before falling asleep. Mommy is surprised whenever she visited daddy trying to get him to talk he would not talk just looked. Ed is coming today to pick up the newborn dolls crocheted into a cocoon and I will be starting house slippers for Dooli and Daisy mom then when I finish the house slippers I plan on knitting a shawl will try knitting since it takes me longer

Pippi sorry about your mommy's rash. Ours is very allergic ti poison Ivy. But sometimes she still pulls it up with a plastic store bag over her hand. Her or dad takes pure bleach and sprays or pours it on the Ivy. Then for mommy out come the pink stuff, calamine lotion. They do make clear lotion to. We had a fast moving thunderstorm yesterday and it helped the temps for a while.

Good morning everyone! Tango's appointment went well. He is about the same, but the Meloxicam seems to be helping with his pacing, so we are going to continue that. Angels Hershey & Winkie, we are glad to hear your parents are going to invest in a stroller! Make sure they get manly colors! UsurpingToby, did you want to eat mommy up when she smelled like a salad? willy, I bet Teddy wasn't ALWAYS Mr. Perfect!! SO unfair that mom blames you for what those fences do to you!!! DALLAS, we are glad no one at the nursing home has COVID 19 and mommy will get to visit daddy soon!! Daisy & Josey, we don't have Poison Ivy around here but it sure doesn't sound fun!!

Ut-oh, UsurpingToby, I'm sorry I suggested the vinegar. But I did warn about the smell. Hopefully if it makes your mommy feel better she'll be more generous with the treats!!
DALLAS, I hope your mommy will be able to visit daddy soon. It sounds like they're taking furry good care of him!
TheWildOnes, I'm glad Tango is doing better. I am, too! It took me two days to recover from our adventure, BOL!!

Attachment DeletedAttachment Deletedood morning everyone Happy Thursday Pooks Molly after you get your thunderstorms they roll into our state Willy I am so sorry to hear you have been getting into big trouble Wild Ones glad to hear the medications seems to be helping Tango we hope it continued Toby sorry the vinegar is stinky and sticky but if it helps it will definitely be worth it. Hershey are the parents going to wait till the next trip to get the stroller or are they taking you shopping around for one that you can fit comfortable in. We are glad there is no virus in the nursing home too and can't wait to be able to visit. Pippi how is mommy doing and you and Cheeky and more hikes planned soon. Well Ed came and got all those newborn dolls I crocheted into a cocoon wanted to know if mommy wanted more she said no she was working on making house slippers. She was afraid to ask how many more he has being they are taking them to a convention she is afraid they ordered 1000 and she doesn't want to do that for 1000 she did it for almost 100 and was tired and needed something new to do. So attaching a picture of the house slippers she made

It must be so hard for everyone not to be able to visit love ones in the nursing homes. Here those homes have open up to visitors, one for each family, last month and that did make some happy tears!
Now Humanmom is taking notes about vinegar.....me don't like that smell because she use that bad vinegar stuff to remove all my lovely nose arts from the windows.....me not happy when she does that, I did work hard to make all that art!!!!!
I dunno about Teddy not being Mr.Perfect, I would need to find a pup who did know him when he was not old to know more about that!
Dee, your slippers look great like everything you do!!!!! Now that I am a little bit older and she doesn't have to always have an eye on me Humanmom as decide to try to take up crochet once again but she is sooooooooooooooooooo slowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww. She is trying to make a shawl but me wonder if it will be done by fall! I can't even get a good look at it because she say she did get some special wool that did cost a lot of money and she doesn't want me to play with it or eat it ....so unfair because Teddy did get to sniff it but not me........so unfair!!!!!!

We might get some of that cooler weather over the weekend too. I am looking forward to it. I haven't had a good walk in weeks...or months...maybe years? It stinks that next week is back up to the mid 90s again.
Tori, you are soooo cute! I love how you model next to the slippers. They are pretty to begin with, but you make them extra beautiful.
When you use vinegar topically, do you use it once or twice a day?
Willy, did you get yo peek at the color of yarn humanmom is using for the shawl?

TheWildOnes mom needs to write that clotrimazole down and try it because this is driving her crazy. (And that's a pretty short trip there anyway. BOL) Our guess as to why the colonoscopy place wants someone to stay on hand is in case of emergency. This is not at the hospital. But still seems as long as you had a cell phone that should be good enough. We'll see when the day comes, but that was what they were telling grandma the other day. Personally we think whoever made that rule ought to have to sit in their car for two hours on a hot, humid day. Just sayin. A cooler with some ice packs and cool drinks is a good idea. Mom is not sure where this place is or what is next to it. She is hoping there is something within walking distance if she needs to cool off, but will have to see when she gets there. Grandma did say the place is not big and they have a tiny waiting room, but we agree that it seems almost dangerous to ask people to sit in a car that long in the summer. I'm glad you have seen a small improvement with Tango, and hope with a little more time on the supplements you will see more. Did the vet have any other helpful information? Angels Hershey & Winkie we really lucked out with our stroller. Back when we were active with the dog walking group there was a lady that would bring a Yorkie in a stroller. Well, the zipper on the stroller was giving her trouble so she decided to get a new one and was going to toss the old one. So she let mom have it. Mom seat belts us in because she knows a zipper wouldn't really stop me anyway. hehe. We used to see a neighbor out with their elderly Basset Hound in a little red wagon. It was cute to see. He had pillows to make it comfy and the wagon was lower than a lot of the stroller so he could still sniff some of the bushes and plants. Apple Cider Vinegar, eh? I think all we have in the house right now is white vinegar, but mom needs to run to the store tomorrow. She will get some of that, too, and give it a try. Mom's sister had shingles last year and was miserable with it. Um, and mom says smelling like a salad may be better than smelling like calamine lotion. hehe. Boy does that stuff stink. UsurpingToby mom was guessing something in the wood chips started this rash. The day they first dropped them off and mom worked in them for 5 hours - that evening she had one strip of itchy spot on her collar bone. Then a week later mom worked in some of it again for a couple of days in a row - about 45 minutes each day. It's been almost a week since then and mom hasn't worked in them any more yet. She does walk across some of it to get to bird feeders to fill them up daily. She initially thought it might have been poison ivy, but has since decided it isn't. Not aware of any problems with rhododendron. Mom has eaten some trail mix, but the only chocolate in it was some M&Ms. Mom can't think of anything she has eaten recently that she hasn't eaten before. No new laundry detergent. She really doesn't know what to make of this. DALLAS I'm glad you got a good report on daddy and that no one in the nursing home has the virus. Yay! We will keep our fingers that they are able to safely allow visitors soon. hearing you talk about the neighbor's black lab reminded mom of dog sitting for a neighbor years ago. The dog had access to the yard through a doggie door and they said checking on him a few times a day should be fine. Well, mom got home from work, went over to check on him and found no dog but did find a big hole where he had dug under the fence. Another neighbor had found him out running around, knew the owners were on vacation and took him to her vet to be boarded. Mom felt really bad about that. Daisy & Josey mom uses rubber gloves and tosses them afterward if she is pulling up poison ivy. She saw a couple of spots where it was coming up in the yard this morning (not where she put wood chips). So she is going to have to get some more rubber gloves and take care of that one day. That is nasty stuff. TheWildOnes - you don't have poison ivy there? Meaning just around your house or anywhere in your area? Too hot for it? If so, there may be a good reason for hot weather after all. hehe. UsurpingToby I hope the vinegar helps your mom. Mine is going to the store tomorrow, but she may break down and go today instead. hehe. DALLAS no hikes planned any time soon. Mom has noticed when she gets outside and gets hotter and sweatier she itches more. So mom is trying to stay inside a little more right now. We don't blame your mom for not wanting to make 1000 cocoons. I think that would get a little boring. Those slippers look nice and comfy. And they make us think of winter and cooler weather and that is a happy thought. hehe. willy the injustices going on in your house! Fences not getting into trouble for eating you but you get in trouble for being eaten by the fence, Teddy getting more privileges than you, and nose art destroyed. Did your mom think you were drawing Christopher Columbus or something?!! hehe. Daisy & Josey if your storms bring some cooler weather please send them this way when you are done with them. hehe Nothing very interesting going on here. Mom has been loading up on the Benedryl and is sleepy. So we are happy to nap with her. We finally had a bit of clear sky and mom got to play more with the telescope last night. She started to go outside to use it, but it was still pretty humid and warm at 11 pm and the mosquitoes were bad. So she tried to find a window with enough space to set up and see anything. Got to see a few stars. The camera thing arrived the day before and mom tried it out last night but wasn't having any success. She is going to have to break down and find a manual online and see if she can figure out what she was doing wrong. Cheeky gave mom a little scare earlier today. She was napping and let out a loud yelp and jumped up. She shook for about 10 minutes in mom's lap and then finally started easing. She has done a little shaking a couple of times since but only lasted a few seconds, and mostly seems to be resting comfortably. Mom has no idea what happened, but thinking whatever it was Cheeky is fine now. Keeping an eye on her just in case though.
