DALLAS, the pawrents are only talking about a stroller at this point. They don't even have any adventures planned, so it isn't a decision fur now. Mommy wonders if you can rent one?
As fur the vinegar, mommy says she just dabbed it on with a cotton ball, two or three times a day or whenevfur she felt like it. It was her chiropractor who told her about it. She still uses it fur heat rashes and bug bites and stuff. She likes the smell of vinegar, BOL!!
willy, that's criminal, your mommy destroying your art work like that! And not letting you play with her yarn. Honestly, sometimes you have to wonder why hoomans want doggies in their houses at all! (Pssst: You can wait until the yarn is a shawl and then commandeer it fur chewing!)

I tell you guys, me think me is better to join a union or something to get me rights respected!!!!! Well, on the good side, I did not go to prison for 2 whole days now!!!!! It is still melting puppy hot out here, today the forecast is 95 with a feel of over 110. That mean not much playing outside for me ....Maybe I will work on putting my nose art back on the plain and borrrrrrrrrrrrrring windows!!!!! The wool Humanmom is using for her project is this one It goes from almost white to deep denim blue. She kind of did fall for the colour of the wool before have the idea of what to do with it. The shawl pattern she is trying to do is this one

Good morning everyone Happy Friday Pooks Molly you are lucky your storms cool things off for you we have been having a thunderstorm every day but it certainly doesn't cool things off makes it hotter Pippi we hope Cheeky is okay maybe he had a nightmare that something was after him. Hershey we hope you are doing okay Wild Ones I am sure your mommy will remember how she did the slippers with granny squares Willy that is good your mommy is doing a shawl that is mommy next project waiting for Madella yarn to arrive but mommy doesn't work with wool though as it makes her itch. Heat makes mommy itch too. we have Chloe staying with us till Sunday Her brother Bob came last night with his friend Matt and Matts wife Tracey and his twin 6 year old grandsons poor Zavier got car sick on the way here had to take all his clothes off to wash except his undies so mommy found a tee shirt with a train on it for him to wear was like a dress on him. Bob and Matt put the ring on my front porch and Tracy put the ring on my phone. Now I had to charge the battery fully last night so will put it in the ring today hoping I don't lose the tiny screw that secures the battery in as my hands shake. Not sure if Rosemarie will tell me to stay home for 2 weeks since they were here she called when they arrived asked if all that noise was my tv I said no my brother with his friends and grandkids putting in the ring

Clarabelle I'm happy to report Cheeky has seemed fine since. Maybe not going down the stairs quite as much, but haven't noticed anything else. My mom wishes she could pack up the telescope and come visit you. I'll bet you have MUCH better visibility and can see more stars. We're having a hard time working around clouds. No nonsoon here. hehe. I think it also cools off more nicely after sunset there. Here, with the humidity it still stays hot and muggy long after the sun goes down. 120?!! Oh my. I don't even think aluminum hats will help prevent brain melt with those temps. Hmm. Has anyone invented an ice pack cap? I think people there should just all become nocturnal in the summer. willy your temps (and UsurpingToby 's) sound bad, too. I think redoing your nose art sounds like a nice indoor project. hehe. Ooooohhh how pretty that yard is. And what a lovely shawl pattern. That is going to be beautiful. DALLAS our thunderstorms seam to just make things steamier, too. Might cool off just a tad for a brief bit, but then more sauna like. Daisy & Josey I'm glad you got some cooler weather. I am really going to hope some of that filters down this way. The ring ... is that the video doorbell thing? You'll have to tell us how you like it. Angels Hershey & Winkie that would be nice if you could rent a stroller. Then you don't have the problem we have - where to store it when not in use. Ours folds down, but you still have to find a place for it. Daisy & Josey Hope nothing serious going on, but good to have the vet check. Keeping you in our thoughts and prayers that it is something easy and quick to fix. Well, mom's rash spread further during the night so she decided it was time for her to go to her vet, er doc. In talking mom and the physician assistant and the doc all think this likely started with the wood chips. Mom and the physician assistant don't think it is poison ivy - hasn't blistered and oozed. The doc said he got into poison ivy once with a chain saw and the reaction wasn't typical. So he said this could still be poison ivy. Whatever it is, they are calling it contact dermititis, and mom is on steroids for the next 9 days. Last time mom was on steroids (for poison ivy last year) she had tons of energy. So she said she needs to make a list of projects she wants to get done in the next week. BOL! The doc did tell her she should also take two benedryl at night about 30 minutes before she plans to go to bed. Mom usually takes a children's benedryl, but he told her take two adult tablets. So maybe that will help mom sleep. Last time she had steroids she might have slept about 2 hours at night if that much. Mom did try some white vinegar yesterday and it actually seemed to help more than the calamine lotion had. Cheeky, the cats and I are having a pretty lazy day. We're following Molly and Pook's lead from yesterday. So cute in those pics. hehe.

Pippi , prayers for your poor mommy! Hope the steroids work fast! Sorry your mommy won't be able to realize her Olympic dream! Glad Cheeky is better! Back when mommy moved here, when she was six, it did cool of at night. No more. The light pollution is bad, but you drive 30 minutes and the night sky is amazing! Daisy & Josey many prayers for the goopy eyes! Not fun! You sure look cute! Angels Hershey & Winkie , we bet if you can't rent one, you can find a cheap used one! willy , that is going to be a beautiful shawl!!! Good job on avoiding prison! DALLAS did your brother ask if he could bring all those people? Doesn't he realize how serious this thing is? UsurpingToby 120 is awful, that's true! At least mommy is off that day and won't have to go outside!

Daisy & Josey, let us know what the vet says. I bet you get eye drops. When Winkie and I had goopy eyes the vet called it "dry eye," which makes no sense at all. But our goop wasn't green, so yours is prolly something else.
willy, that is a bootifur shawl your mommy is planning. Furget what I said, Don't eat it, 'kay?
Pippi, I hope your mommy will be feeling better furry soon!

Good morning e veryone Happy Saturday Pooks Molly we are for you today at the vets hoping it is something that can clear up with medication. Which one has it Molly or Pooks I know Molly is older I think Pooks is the age of AJ 14 Willy when will mommy start working on the shawl is it knitted or crochet Pippi sorry mommy rash is worse so glad she is going to see her doctor about it. Wild Ones mommy knew he was bringing his friend Matt and the grandkids did not know that Matt wife was the brains in putting the ring on the cell phone and Matt helps him install it on the porch they did my brothers. Pippi it is the doorbell video so far I can't get it to connect maybe my wifi is screwing it up. But they are suppose to come Sunday or Monday to check it out he probably won't bring the grandkids since they get car sick. Hershey AJ had dry eyes and had to have drops in her eyes too. Mommy has to put drops in her eyes as she has dry eyes.

Tori, Humanmom did start working on it already and it is all crochet. She can't knit, she tried but she is a disaster and she look like she is about to stab someone with those needles in her hands! She did think she was allergic to wool a long time ago but it turn out the only thing she had that was wool was 3 sweaters her Mom did knit, the thing was that it was all the same brand of wool that was used and the colour used to make it was cheap, i mean really really bad colouring and that was the thing making Humanmom itchy not the wool.
Teddy often as an eye that does the green stuff and he always get drops for it and it always work fast to make him better!
I did start to work on my nose art again but with the cold air machine working all the time to make it less hot in the house my nose is not as wet and I run out of nose juice to finish my art work!

Thank you all for the prayers for Molly. She is 15 and also has a wart/non fatty thing right on her left eyelid. She rubs it open when she is stretching out on the bed when she wakes up. We will let everyfur know what happens. Many prayers for every fur and person and critter here.

Molly has what is called keratoconjunctivitis sicca or Dry Eyes. She has 2 kinds of Ointment to put on her eyes every 12 hours, 1 is for 12 days and the other on is for the rest of her life and I have an ointment to put on her non cancerous wart that is right above her left eye. She rubs it open when she wakes up and rubs her precious face on the blankets. She is also blind in both eyes. Molly is 15yrs. 5months old( on the 15th) and she is the oldest doggie we have ever had.

TheWildOnes that is discouraging that your weather doesn't cool off at night. I thought desert regions did that. And with you day temps I'm sure the plants and people and everything could use the break! We had some clear skies last night and would have been a good night to try the telescope but the Benedryl was winning out over the steroids and mom was too tired to pull it out and try. hehe. Sadly the steroids were fighting and she couldn't get to sleep for a while, but she was dragging. DALLAS hope it will be a quick easy fix to get the ring working. We've seen commercial and think it sounds neat. willy do you ever slip a little tongue into your nose art? hehe. The kitties leave lots of nose art on our windows. They get up there to watch the birds, but then they fuss that they can't see out for their nose art. There is no pleasing cats. BOL Well, mom had trouble getting to sleep last night, but finally did and slept pretty well the rest of the night. She was really tired this morning, but the next dose of steroids got her moving a bit more. She has already seen some improvements in some areas of the rash - they are not as red and irritated looking, and she hasn't been as itchy today. Still some itchies, but not as bad. Mom thought of your mom UsurpingToby when she woke up yesterday morning. She realized a lot of the new spots were where elastic from her underwear would have been touching her - at waist and leg. I know your mom has trouble with so many things. The doc had told mom her immune system had kicked into over drive and was starting to overreact to everything. Has your mom ever reacted to elastic? If so, what in the world do you do for that? Grandma came over to be here while mom did a couple of things on the roof. One was to cut some dead or dying branches that were hanging over the roof in the back. That roof is almost flat so it's easy to get out there and work. The using the pole saw is the hard part. And getting a rope around things so grandma can pull from the ground to make sure the branches clear the roof coming down isn't always easy. But they got that done. The other project was to try and hook up some guttering pieces to route the water dripping from the window a/c. You used to be able to connect a hose for it to drain, but some washer or something that used to fit in there had disintegrated. So mom had to come up with another solution. Mom is hoping this will stay in place and work because she hasn't be able to find a piece to replace the one that fell apart. Of course the a/c hasn't run enough (or mom can't see the water in the guttering pieces - they are half open) to see if it's all lined up and doing what it needs to do. Mom just didn't want the constant drip on the roof all summer. Figured that wasn't good for it. Mom did her best to try and tie this in place at both ends and in the middle (it's two pieces) and hopes the squirrels running on the roof don't knock it out of place. I was mad when mom was working out on the roof. She goes in and out the window and she won't let us in the room when she does that. She doesn't want us (especially the cats) trying to go out here with her. So I fussed and let her know what I thought of being shut out of the room. Hmph. Anyway, Cheeky and I were really glad to see grandma. Cheeky was even giving her kisses and sitting in her lap. She usually saves all her kisses for mom, but mom has been smelling like stinky calamine lotion and vinegar. BOL Now that grandma left we're practicing our napping techniques. Hope everyone is staying cool and having a good weekend.
