The peeps keep money in an account in case there is some sort of emergency. Anybody they know that has had pet insurance, it just didn't seem to help them when they needed it. One friend paid for pet insurance for the 12 years they had their cat. When she had a stroke and was hospitalized, they thought the insurance would help with the bill, but they didn't. Not one dime. Now they have two new cats and no insurance. Wish we knew someone that had a positive recommendation for pet insurance.
