Hey Palz~ Itz a cloudy day here wif tempz ina low 80'z. Furry lil breeze, yesty wuz nice wif a nice breeze. Angels Hershey & Winkie me glad ya exchanged rugz wif mommy 'n now it werkz fur ya~ R ya still gone get a stand higher up? Pa'z sugar level shot up really high 'n haz been runnin' a bit high since dey took him off'n hiz medz. So him iz now awaitin' a call back frum his PCP nurse. Maybe dey willl let him 'least take half o' whut him wuz on, dey took him off one o' hiz high blood pressure medz too, coz o' him kidneyz. So Pa iz nappin' now iz da on'y than' him can doez when it shootz up to ofur 250!

DALLAS the place mom takes Cheeky for nails will actually do them for free if nails are all you are there for. That is part of why they have the parents hold the pups. They have a tip jar so mom always gives them something, but probably not enough. She still needs to check about taking Cheeky. Maybe towards the end of the week. Our vet used to charge $12 for nails, but think they are up to $15 or $16 now. Been a while since we've had them done there since we found the other place. Inky and Nimbus, but especially Inky, can be stinkers to Cheeky. Every evening after we have had our bedtime snack and Cheeky is ready to come up the ramp and get on the bed the kitties run and jump onto the top of the ramp and block her. They know mom will pull out the laser pointer to distract them so Cheeky can get up. So that is the "normal" routine now. Sometimes Inky runs back and jumps up again as Cheeky starts up while Nimbus has a turn with the laser pointer. They are both bigger than Cheeky and she is afraid to try and pass them. Milo Blue Eyes mom has lost some weight here recently. So I'm sure Cheeky and I have, too. Mom says I look like maybe I did, but she didn't say that about Cheeky. Tee hee hee. Now if mom can just keep going in that direction. She has a long way to go to be skinny. hehe  for Pa. He must feel like he has been on a roller coaster ride with his health this year. Hopefully before long they will get things more settled and into a good routine. I hope he heard back quickly from his PCP and there is a good, but easy tweak to keep things under better control. Has he ever talked with a dietitian to give him some good ideas for meals and snacks and such that would be good for both the kidneys and the diabetes? Most insurance companies will pay for that. Sometimes it's hard to know what to eat when you are dealing with multiple health issues. What would be good for one condition may be bad for another and it becomes a balancing act. Clarabelle I'm sorry I missed your Gotcha Day. I say we celebrate all week.  Mmmm. Look at all the god food Milo brought. Glad I am first in line. hehe. * Grabs five plates and starts filling them. *  Milo!

 ood morning everyone Happy Tuesday Thank you Milo Blue Eyes for all the food and drink. We hope the PCP called daddy back right away having his sugar spike so high is dangerous. We hope they can get it solved to stay normal Pippi that shelf looks great and by now I am sure it is complete filled Pooks Molly I agree with you I am getting my plate and staying inside too hot outside and too many flies Pippi love the Gotcha Day treat for Clarabelle Wild Ones I am sure Clarabelle is not upset for your forgetting her gotcha day. Willy are you still getting mud baths and getting in trouble Toby are you leaving the blanket alone for mommy to work on My vet where we go for groomer (oops mommy keeps putting we though Sabrina and Aj no longer with us. Charging $19 if I just take her in for nails to get done. |

 Daisy & Josey ! Are you doing anything special at your house to celebrate?  DALLAS mom has filled up more of the shelves, but still has the bottom one free at this point. She's still trying to decide for sure what she wants to keep there. Some of the shelves have mom's fabric stash and Inky thinks that would be a great place to nap. Mom is not liking that. |

Good afternoon everyone!! Milo Blue Eyes, if it's not one thing, it's another!! Many prayers for Pop! Oh, all the food looks so yummy! BUT, we'll pass on the cornmeal mush!! Hee hee!! Pippi, the shelves turned out beautiful!! We absolutely LOVE them!! That Inky sounds like a real stinker! Sometimes Sparkle keeps Ranger from getting on the bed!He'll whine, and mommy has to "block" Sparkle so he can get up! Thank goodness for a king sized bed!! Daisy & Josey !! You are Clarabelle are almost the same day! DALLAS, mommy wants to invest in a dremmel, but the last two she got sucked, so she will have to do some research!! (The expression of anal glands is $38! Mommy would SO like to learn how to do that!) |

Good morning everyone Pooks Milo Blue Eyes thank you for all the breakfast food and drinks glad to hear Pa got a call back pretty quickly. Pippi loved the cake you had for Pooks Gotcha Day Willy hope you are joining us here for all the good food Wild Ones hope you find a good dremmel. Wow that much money for anal glands. I know our vet in Florida preferred us to get them expressed by a vet said groomers are not aware if there is a problem. Sometimes you can tell from a discharge in the anals if something is wrong. In fact when we took our girls in for groomer and asked for their anals to be expressed the vet would do it not the groomer he did not allow his groomers to do that. Not sure if they do the same at this vet in Kentucky never asked. Pooks I hope you had a wonderful Gotcha Day |

TheWildOnes I think I forgot to ask if you did anything special to celebrate Clarabelle's gotcha day? We tend to celebrate with Sardines. Yum! Kitties will get to try that this year. A king sized bed sounds nice. We have a queen and sometimes mom hogs too much of it. She says the same thing about me. BOL! Mom tried two different battery powered dremmels for our nails and finally went to a plug in one. She likes the plug in one so much better. It is true you have to sit where there is power, but it has a really long cord and it doesn't give out before mom is done. Of course she is not doing four dogs now. So the battery powered one might have done okay, but mom still like the plug in one. Ours has a dial for adjusting the speed. Sometimes mom starts with it a little slower for me and then if she really has a long nail to grind she ramps it up some. Mom had asked one of the vet techs about learning how to express anal glands. She said it can be a smelly, messy job, but they could teach mom if she really wanted to know how. Thankfully with the meds Cheeky is on now and with both of us getting a bite of pumpkin with our dinner every night we have not needed ours done in a long time. Mom opted not to learn how by the way. hehe Milo Blue Eyes I hope Pa heard back on an appointment time. I also hope he just needs a simple tweak in meds or something easy like that. Keeping our paws  . Daisy & Josey Happy Birthday to Itsumo! Does he (or she) get anything special to celebrate? Kitties we had in the past used to get a bite of tunafish. Mom didn't think to do that for Inky and Nimbus' birthday this year. But they can try a bite of Sardines before long. I'm curious about Itsumo's name. Is there a story behind that?  I thought we were supposed to have a good chance of rain today, but haven't seen any yet. We only sat out watching the birds for a few minutes this morning. It was heating up in a hurry it seems. Mmmm. Everything looks good as usual Milo. Thank you so much for taking care of us. * Grabs three plates and starts filling them. *

Milo Blue Eyes, I'm sorry your Pa still needs more fixing.  That's hard on your mommy, too.
I went to the groomer yesfurday. She told mommy I have Arthur Eyetis in my paws, is why I don't like to stand or walk so much. I don't know who that is. I keep biting at him, but I haven't caught him yet. DALLAS, I prolly will still get a supper dish raiser. I found a way to slip even on mommy's kitchen rug.
Now I need to do some serious catching up at the buffet!

Pooks Molly Happy Birthday to Itsumo he is the same age as Pooks. I was wondering do cats go blind as they age like our dogs do
Pippi that is smart to let the vet express the anal glands.
Wild Ones mommy has to do 130 rows for the shawl body and 7 rows for the border on the shawl I did 20 more rows last night.
Pippi we got the heavy rain and storms yesterday afternoon till evening
Hershey so sorry to hear you have arthritis in your paws which is causing you to fall did they give you medicine for it and does it help. Sorry you slipped on the new rug you got from mommy
