Angels Hershey & Winkie sending you a gentle . Arthur Eyetis stinks. Mom thinks I must have a little, too. She's not sure if it might be in my hips or back legs or in my back, but I sure grumble sometimes when she goes to move me from wherever I am napping. I like the cuddle mom gives me afterward though. Mom has some in her feet. She wears crocks most of the time because she says that is about all that is comfortable. Maybe you need some crocks Angels Hershey & Winkie. BOL

DALLAS your mom is going to town on that shall. She will be done before you know it. How is it looking so far?

Mom says we are getting sardines with supper tonight if her little pea brain can remember. I'm a little worried because she had peas with her lunch. Does that make her pea brain more pea-y? hehe

Us pups are having a pretty lazy day while mom goes back and forth in the house. (Maybe this pea brain thing is worse than I thought.) Mom works a little, gets too hot and comes in the room where we are to sit and cool down a bit. Then she does it all over again. I think she should just join us and be done with it.

Today mommy going to foot doctor to have a corn removed on her left foot which hurts when she walks. Guess mommy needs to get better shoes

WO, thank you for asking about us. Since mom is having eye issues again, we aren't at the computer as much. Hopefully when the weather cools and fans aren't as necessary, she will go back to normal.

Woo hoo! Casino winnings sound like fun! Milo, do they have air sanitizing robots at the casino? We haven't seen one in person, but we've heard about them at different places. So glad your folks had a refreshing stay even if you did get cheated out of some snacks!

Thanks for the cake Clarabelle . Gotta love a cake with bacon. How much better can it get?!! I am happy to say mom did not forget the sardine. And Inky liked the juice from his but not the meat. So I got his meat. And Nimbus was sleeping and never did show up and mom didn't want that smell to be left in the kitchen. So I got his, too. It was a good birthday. hehe. Oh and look! More sardine from Charly . Thank you! I love sardines. That is good stuff. Ohhh, and another cake from Milo Blue Eyes . Milo I think it's good to spread things out sometimes. That way we get to celebrate for more days. Woo-hoo!

Milo Blue Eyes how nice that Ma and Pa got to have a nice break at the casino. Sometimes a change of scenery does a world of good.

DALLAS I was just repeating what mom said about herself and her pea brain. She looked at me in the kitchen the other day and said to me, "If my pea brain can remember it, I'll give you sardines with supper." So I figure if she can say she has a pea brain I can, too. BOL

Ouch for the corn removal. Hope that is a quick recovery and makes a big difference.

Angels Hershey & Winkie I hope you had a fun adventure up with the wine doggies. I also hope you found a good food dish holder upper. They do come in handy.

You know how we have been saying the house seems kind of hot, and mom kept getting warm working on things and having to come into other rooms to cool down? Well, mom went out yesterday to refill bird baths and noticed something on one of the pipes going into the a/c unit bit that sits outside. She went closer to look and it was a big chunk of ice. So she talked with pawpaw and did a little looking online, and a lot of that we can make this thing limp along at least one more year. She has changed the filters. One it was about time. the other it shouldn't have been, but mom went ahead and changed it. This morning she shut the unit off and turned the fan on. Hmm. No fan blowing. So she went outside and used the hair dryer on the chunk of ice and the pipe for a while. Still no air blowing. She isn't sure how long it will take to melt if the whole pipe has ice. So we've left things as is for today. We have the window a/c unit in the bedroom. So we have one room that is cool and little fans or ceiling fans going in some of the other rooms. Luckily it's been cloudy a good part of the day and the house, while it does feel a tad warm and stuffy, it really hasn't been as bad as mom feared it would. In fact, some rooms feel better than they have been feeling. So keep your fingers that we just need to wait for ice to finish melting in the pipes and that by some miracle things will work again by tomorrow. Otherwise this may be one hot and miserable summer and we're going to spend a lot of time in the bedroom. hehe.

Grandma came over for a little bit. Mom has most of her fabric out of the shelves and grandma was helping sort fabric by color and make it all blend nicely so it's easier to find the color you want when you need it. Cheeky and I enjoyed seeing grandma and Nimbus took over her lap when she sat down for a bit. Grandma thinks Nimbus is so nice, but she hasn't seen him in his Thing 1/Thing 2 mode. hehe. Actually he is pretty nice, but he sure can be wild sometimes.

Mom has continued to go through boxes and has shredded a lot of old papers and things. She's filling one and half of another big black garbage bag so far. Inky keeps eyeballing that shredded paper. hehe. I told mom if he uses it as a litter box that would a whole added level of security to shredded paper. BOL!

We've had a little rain and some thunder. Mom took a break during one storm to sit and cuddle with me. I've been sticking close to her a lot lately. All these changes going on in the house. I don't know what to think of it all.

Okay. I've chatted enough. Time to get some of that yummy food I have been missing! Thanks Milo. I'd take three of everything to start. hehe
