Hi everyfur! Mommy has an Aunt that lives right down the street from her. Her Aunt & Mom HATE each other, so I don't see how she'll be of much if any help. That's it.
Mommy read her MRI report today. It turns out that they did find a problem. When Mommy finally got the report from her neck/shoulder area, they found something there too & neither doctor said a word about it. That made Mommy check out other documents she's gotten from this place. It turns out that these doctor's haven't been telling Mommy everything for YEARS. I guess they think she doesn't have a right to know what's going on/wrong with her own body. She's beyond upset. These doctors should lose their licenses & the place should be shut down. She was treated quite badly at the ER too. I guess nowadays that is the thing, to give the most sh*tty medical care possible! It seems nobody hardly gives a sh*t anymore!
She made an appointment to see another knee specialist & the hospital downtown Monday morning. She'll bring her records. I hope to God he'll actually help. In a day or so, I'll tell you what they found. Right now, I am too upset. ALWAYS ask for a copy of your X-rays, MRI's, CT Scans, etc. Ask for the scan AND the report. You can't trust these a-holes anymore!

Good morning everyone Happy Thursday Twinkle with our health insurance our doctors have a portal we sign in to and our chart is kept online for us to view we can read all our test that our taken. Sorry your doctors are not very helpful and don't tell you anything. We are  that mommy gets help with her knee so she won't be in much pain Milo Blue Eyes thanks for the food so much. Mommy has to start looking out for herself since daddy doesn't want to get married and that will just leave mommy with her check when something happens to daddy. We hope mommy contacts and aging center to help her with choices she has to make Willy thanks for all your help with serving food Pippi we are sorry mommy's knees hurt when she eats dairy Toby we are sorry your mommy has such reactions to so much food Charly we read about the scary situation that happened at the library in parents chat. Charly it may not be the dairy part of the cheese that is irritating mom's joints. It may be some other ingredient in the cheese, but something seems to be setting it off. She used to think chocolate was a problem, but eventually figured out it had to be some ingredient in some chocolates. Because mom can eat some with no trouble and others bother her. Hmm. I missed your scare in the Parents thread. I even went back and took a second look and I'm not seeing it. Milo Blue Eyes yes, mommy needs to take care of herself of she can't help anyone else either.  Hope her back will start to feel better. And we totally understand if you can't make it to lots of threads or even to the site every day. We can pitch in at the cafe when your mom needs to rest her eyes. We love it when you can get here, but do understand when you can't. Twinkle (My Sweet Angel) sorry there isn't more family around to help with mommy's parents. That makes it hard. Oh no on the MRI and other reports. We'll be curious to hear more. Hope it is something fixable. And hope the doctor Monday will be able to do more to help relieve the pain. DALLAS that's neat that you can access all your medical records online. That could be very handy. Nothing very exciting going on at our house. So I think it's time to eat. Charly hubro does anything mommy ask's him or suggests. They share a love of cats and at times she helps with his 2 cats. Thats easy because they and hubro have the 2 rooms upstairs. Milo Blue Eyes thank you for the foods.

Hey pals! Mommy is so sorry! She wrote about it in the bark and woof thread! She MEANT to put it in the pawrents thread! Basically, a patron, who looked like maybe he had cerebral palsy, dropped his phone and bent over, trying to pick it up. Mommy was going over to help him when SMACK! He fell face down on the cold, hard, tile floor. It knocked him out!! There was blood, too. Another patron came over and was helping while mommy went to get someone to call 911. When she got back, he was breathing very hard and it looked like maybe he was having a seizure. Mommy and the others were trying to get him to not hit his head on the wall. When the seizure ended, he was trying to get up and they were all trying to get him to just lie down till the paramedics got there. They finally did, it felt like forever, but was only 4 minutes. They took him to the hospital, but he was awake and aware when they left. Milo Blue Eyes, we get it about him not wanting to get married. Our daddy doesn't either. But hopefully, he has a will, otherwise mommy won't get anything that is not in her name! Twinkle (My Sweet Angel), we are SO sorry about the doctors. That is really awfull that they don't tell you everything! We have a 'portal" too, like DALLAS and can see everything. Mommy really likes that! Daisy & Josey, that is great that hubro is so helpful! When mommy's brother lived with her, he was never very helpful because he never learned to drive! She would have to do things for him! Pippi, oh no! Not cheese!! Mommy says she could never give up cheese! We hope your mommy found some that doesn't bother her! Milo Blue Eyes, thank you SO much for all the yummy food! Good morning everyone Happy Friday Milo Blue eyes thanks for all the delicious food and drinks Glad mommy can see her records online and when something is not right she lets them know and I hope they correct it. Seriously, Milo Blue Eyes mommy does need to talk a lawyer because though mommy and daddy not married maybe because common law living together she may be able to get his social security I am not sure but wise to check before something happens. This one actor lived with his girlfriend for years and something came up and the courts decided though they were legally married she was entitled because they lived together more than 7 years. Wild Ones the same can go for you. Maybe your men do not have a will stating anything a lot of people die without wills. Wild Ones you need to check with a lawyer too since you and Chuck have lived together and not married I think they now have laws for common law marriages what you can get heck you working in the library you can do a search on that. Pooks I think it is great humanbro is living there with you all and helps your mommy with everything Twinkle we are for your mommy and her health issues Bertie how are you doing Toffee how many days do you go to day camp Pippi we are sorry to hear cheese hurts your mommy when she eats it. Daisy & Josey do hubro's cats come down and visit with you and your kitties? Milo Blue Eyes glad Pa got his staples out. I'm sure that feels better now. And glad you found an Aging Center there close by. Hope they have a lot of good suggestions. Charly thanks for sharing that incident here. I didn't realize until today that anyone was still using the bark and woof thread. I have not been getting notification for at least a couple of weeks now. Someone will have to tag me there if I disappear again. Back to the incident though ... glad mommy and others were there to help the man and make sure he didn't get hurt more. How does common law marriage work? If you are not married, but have lived together long enough does that come into play and help any? Mom rarely eats cheese or other dairy because it gives her a LOT of digestive problems. But every now and then she has a little anyway. DALLAS looks like we are thinking the same thing with the common law marriage. willy I want in on the bean eating farting contest! Mom says I have some farts that could be used for toxic warfare sometimes. BOL Twinkle (My Sweet Angel) wonder if we can all have a different pitch and make a song with this contest? Tee hee hee Milo Blue Eyes thanks as usual for all the food. May I have a little of everything with an extra helping of beans please and thank you? hehe

willy let me at those beans BOL!! I'm a good farter!! Pippi sometimes they will come down to the landing at the bottom of the stairs but they like to keep to themselves. Mommy does go up and pets them. The cats are both girls but midnight is more human friendly once she knows you. The other one is Wildeyes she is a loner mostly.

Daisy & Josey I think I have seen a picture of Midnight and Wildeyes before. Two black kitties? I keep thinking they need to meet Inky and Nimbus. They are male kitties. Inky spends more time hanging out with us than Nimbus does. Nimbus is more the loner here, but he does hang out with us some. Especially if there is food. Then you would think he is part dog. hehe.

Glad you saw a Aging Center make sure when you talk to someone to let them know you don't have finances so they can direct you to someone that works for free. I hope they can help you as it is better to have someone guiding you than trying to handle all this on your own. Happy to hear Pa got his staples out

Pippi mommy was trying to rack her brain it was actor Lee Marvin case that starting helping common law marriage for people that live together for years then something happens in his case he left her. But the lawyers would know for sure what common law people can get from living together for years without being married and it is smart to check into it before something happens.
