Milo Blue Eyes- We haven't had the farting contest yet. We were waiting to get as many replies as possible, although somefur may have farted Happy Birthday to Clarabelle & then ate more beans to load back up again! Mommy is supposed to be taking PT to help. She hasn't started it because she kept getting different answers as to what is wrong. She didn't think it was wise to start PT without really getting to the bottom of the problem. She is going to be back to the doctor ASAP.

 willy . I'm glad your mom was able to get the vaccination, but I sure am sorry it made her feel bad. Hope she is feeling better now. Which one did she get? Will she have to have a second one? My mom found she reacted more to the first shot than the second. Twinkle (My Sweet Angel) I hope the PT will help mom. My mom loved the PT she got at first after having whiplash. It consisted of ultrasound heat, moist heat packs, and then a message. Ahhh. She would love some of that right now.  willy !  * Sneaks back for seconds. * Thanks Milo Blue Eyes ! |

willy! Mommy just got back from her doctors appointment. She had to see a doctor she'd never seen before because the other knee specialist was booked up & not available until next Monday. The doctor she saw was a rude a-hole who was totally full of himself. We think he's a little on the crazy side too. It's clear he has VERY serious issues & has no business being a doctor. I guess you can get away with that when your father owns the practice. I must admit though that he did answer Mommy's questions & she has a much better understanding of everything now. It turns out that the doctors there do have access to the reports & can print them back there for free, but they choose to focus on the scans instead. Most of them don't bother to read the reports to you which does not make one bit of sense. The a-hole told her she could just ask the doctor to pull up the report myself & he'd go over it with me. Well, why in the H*ll should she have to do that? Yeah, I think perhaps we have discovered that her doctor & his son are a bit mental. He did give her a shot & some meds, so he's not 100% bad, but she'd never ever consider going back to him.

Twinkle, I am so sorry about your mommy's experience with the "new" doctor! That really sucks, but glad she got some pain meds! Pippi, what a perfect cake for Willy! We love it! , handsome!! Good morning everyone Happy Tuesday sorry did not make it here yesterday just as mommy was getting ready to post in this group her power went out for a few minutes made the computer shut down so she said the heck with it as it was storming out afraid it would go down again. Willy glad mommy got her shot bu said it affected her and hurt. Pippi loved the Gotcha Day cake you got for Willy it is great Winkle sorry mommy had to have a new doctor the other was booked and so sorry he was a a hole but as mommy said at least hea explained things for her and gave her a shot for her pain. Milo Blue Eyes thank you for all the delicious food and drinks Toffee great to see you here glad Mommy and daddy got their second shots. |

Twinkle (My Sweet Angel) sorry mom didn't like the doctor she saw, but I am glad she has a better understanding now of what's going on. Will she be able to start the PT now? Hpoe there will be some good non-surgical options for some relief. Milo Blue Eyes by the end of the week they are calling for 90 here. Ugh! Hope your parents are doing well this week. Or at least on the mend. willy Pfizer is the one my mom got, too. Hope your mom will do well with the second one. Hey willy when are we going to all fart? All that doctor really gave her was some steroids. She thinks her knee does feel a little better, but she's sure it won't last long. Her other knee is starting to bother her too. She has no clue where to go for PT. |

Hello everyone! Milo Blue Eyes thank you so much for all the wonderful food! Hope maw and paw are feeling good! I'll take a Chicken wrap and The swirl cheesecake!!! DALLAS that is so irritating! Glad you made it today and all is okay! willy hope mommy's second shot is easier on her than the first! Of COURSE the parents live you, no matter what! Pippi let's see how many tacos you can fit in your mouth! Twinkle (My Sweet Angel) l think we should have the farting contest soon since everyone is cocked and loaded!! Twinkle, my mom has the same knee condition. You are right that finding a correct diagnosis can be next to impossible. She was told by various A-hole doctors and teachers that her problem was "a bad attitude" or "that she must want a boyfriend". Not sure how those things cause pain, weakness and falling, but there you go.
Mom went through PT way back when, but she decided not to continue with the exercises once she finished her course with them, but she did make some lifestyle changes. What they recommended was supposed to change the way her patella tracked. When she asked what the long-term consequences of these changes were, they just shrugged and grunted. At least with the original condition, she knew what to expect.
Does your mom already do things like not wear heels/always wear shoes with cushioning and support? My mom learned to never cross her legs. To avoid stairs as much as possible and to take them at an angle going up/backwards going down when necessary. Not to carry extra weight - no heavy handbag or even heavy shoes. Don't carry heavy packages. She never kneels. When getting up or down, she uses her arms to lift or lower herself. It took a lot of years, but now she is able to fake acting like a normal person.
I hope your Mom is able to work things out without needing surgery. You have our sympathy for your suffering! (Sorry for rambling.)

Toby that is a lot of things mommy has to do to protect her knees. I hope it works for her. Mommy hasn't worn heals in a long time she is always in sneakers but she does prefer to take steps than go up and elevator only really exercise she gets.
Twinkle I hope the steroids help mommy did she get them in pill form or just an injection since her other knee is starting to hurt. Her friend Rosemarie started having Gel inserted in her knee instead of a cortisone shot though she stilol complains it hurts not like the commericial people saying no more pain.
Willy glad you had a great Gotcha Day and of course your parents love you even the pshyco side of you

Yes we are supposed to get snow this Thursday and Friday. It has to happen sometime. Another day of sprinkles maybe for the day. Take care and remember you are vey loved
