Hey Palz~! Oh TheWildOnes whena mommy wuz lil bitty her parents hada swamp cooler!'n all her momma's furniture turned white! Jus' cools wif water 'n izn't conditioned Pippi ! Dey be'z rite, it don'tz werk in humiditiez. Datz why mommy njoyz 73* inside air conditioned, no humidity! cause spent three 'n half yrz in S. Texas ina muggynessssss. Tawk 'bout UGH! It'z not quite so bad tanite. But still 86* 'n feelz like 92*.

TheWildOnes if swamp coolers don't work when it's humid I guess that's why we weren't familiar with them. Because it sure is humid here. hehe Luckily today feels a little less humid. At least this morning. Mmmm look at all the yummy foodage. Thanks Milo Blue Eyes ! * Grabs a couple of plates and starts piling them high. * You know, for some reason mom always has to have a snack after we come here. BOL!

Thank you fur all that delishus foodage, Milo Blue Eyes! That's only about the second time I've evfur heard of a Kentucky Hot Brown. Mommy found it mentioned in a book once, but has nevfur had one.
It took me two days to rest up from our adventure! I met a lot of nice people and their doggies, including a little baby cocker spaniel called Bandit. He was all bounce and wag, the way I used to be. Mommy told him I was him, later in life. But he wasn't really listening! Daisy & Josey, Bandit came from Indiana!
Swamp cooler, is it? I nevfur heard of such a thing. We have Karl the Fog to cool us here. He's been offshore fur a couple of days, but snuck in a little bit today. That kept our temp down to 60*. (Sorry Pippi! Attachment Deleted )

Oh boy look at all the food I have been missing. That is an usual looking breakfast TheWildOnes . I first thought that was a bowl of popcorn, but then when I saw some on the plate ... is that mashed potatoes? Milo Blue Eyes and Angels Hershey & Winkie I don't think I have ever heard of a Kentucky Hot Brown. I'm going to have to look that one up. Angels Hershey & Winkie , jealous of your temps as usual. Pippi, we think they are some sort of sweet dumpling! But of course, we aren't sure. Milo Blue Eyes, mommy wants to find the recipe for those Kentucky hot browns! Wonder how they got their name? Angels Hershey & Winkie, cocker puppies are SO cute!!! Did you get to play with him? Daisy & Josey, Angels Hershey & Winkie said the puppy is from INDIANA, not Ireland! Funny, we thought WE saw Ireland, too, and then looked closer!

BOL, mommy had to look again to make sure she didn't type Ireland! No, Bandit was from Indiana. Daisy & Josey, mommy's friend lives in Scotland. No, TheWildOnes, I didn't really pay much attention to Bandit. I let him sniff my butt is all. I was already almost out of energy by the time he showed up. He was ALL energy!

I have greenish junk coming out of my eyes and maybe a cold and we will see how things turn out. But you know I'm 15 yrs old now so anything is possible. This talk of Ireland and Scotland make mom want to take a trip. Heck, she would enjoy a trip to IN, too. It's been a while since she has been there.  Daisy & Josey hope nothing serious and only something easily and quickly fixable is going on. Will your mom be able to go in with you or will she have to wait outside? We've been lucky that our vet lets mom come in with us. Thanks for the snack Angels Hershey & Winkie ! That hit the spot. |
