Angels Hershey & Winkie I was wondering about you. We all are going through so much. Pooks had a bad time last night. He spit up, wondered, was shivering, seemed lost. Molly stayed right by him. She is a great big little sister. Many, many prayers and hugs and Love for everyfur and everyone.

Hershey had a really good walking day yesterday. Today not so much. Anick, I know what you mean about the sling going around the rear. We couldn't find any in the pet shops around here, so I just took niece Trish's advice and went online. I was worried about him pooping and peeing all over a dedicated rear-end sling! 😏
Thanks for all the Barkday wishes! We weren't sure he'd make it!

Is there a way to upload photos from a tablet to this site? I tried to post a picture today but couldn’t figure out how.

when I did upload a photo from my tablet to here it was about the same as from the computer but I had a hard time finding where the photo was inside the tablet.
Teddy did try his butt harness for a walk last evening and it did work out great and I now know he can poo with it no problem. Teddy is kind of funny, he never get mad at other dogs but in his younger days when a small dog was annoying him he would pee on it. When we go for a walk we pass in front of a house with a very barky little dog and sweet old Teddy doesn't like to be barked at so every time the little dog bark at him from the window old Teddy stop and poo right there in the street in front of the house and look at the little dog in the window will he is doing it.
When our pups get old every Birthday is special!

No worries, Carol. Believe me, I know what's occupying your mind right now!
Hershey slept through most of his barkday yesterday, but walked pretty well whenever he was up. We took him for a ride in his stroller in the evening. He still enjoys that, slings a paw over the edge and rides along like king of the road!
Anick, that is so funny about Teddy and his pooh warfare! I'm glad the sling is working for him, and you!
Lisa, great photo!
Dee, it sounds like things are falling into place with the funeral home and all the arrangements. What a difficult time for you. You are in my prayers.

Lisa, I am very bad to second guess things! Oh Kathy I sure hope you and Stephen are both feeling better! And I hope it was just a little virus that has come and gone and nothing more serious. Gosh I still wish they could get some home health in to help with things around the house. It seems even if your health or insurance wouldn't cover it, with all Stephen has had with his health it seems like it ought to be covered for a while. If nothing else, wish you had some family close by who could help out. Keeping you both in my thoughts and prayers. Like the others have said, take the time you need. You and Stephen are dealing with a lot and that can take a lot of your time and your energy. We'll love it when we see you here and think of you and send good thoughts your way when we don't. You take care of yourself and Stephen. Marty I have been very lucky that my vet has remained opened and that I can go in with Pippi. I probably should be more worried that they aren't doing more to distance people and have them wait in the car, but when I have been in I am glad I can go in and talk with the vet. I have heard him make the comment that they have been busier and doing a lot more surgeries because other vets in the area have had more restrictions. for you Marty. You are spending your time and attention wisely ... with Hershey rather than online. But it is always nice to see you when you do drop in. I'm late, but Happy Birthday to Hershey! Like someone else said, those later birthdays and milestones are important. Dee, I love hearing about Tori and Dallas chasing each other and playing. That is wonderful. I'll bet that will help keep both of them younger and more active. Carol, I keep hoping Pooks meds and change in food will make a difference for him. I sure hate to hear he had a bad night the other night. It's so hard to watch the decline. Hope he has felt much better since then! I am happy to say Pippi has been doing fine since she has been home. I may have to get sneaky about her antibiotic. She kept trying to spit it out this morning. She has 4 weeks of it to take. I am hoping she won't keep outsmarting me. hehe. We haven't been on any good walks yet. I've been busy trying to figure out what to do with the heat pump. I'm also happy to report I have seen no further seizures or problems with Cheeky other than that one. So I am hoping it was a one time thing. I think at the moment (knock on wood) everyone is on the mend here. My brain has felt like mush trying to make sense of all the information various people have given me about the heat pumps and what solutions they propose. I have quotes from two and have sent questions to two. I really feel clueless and may have to flip a coin. hehe. I'll be glad when a decision has been made and the new one put in. - Laura (Pippi, Cheeky, Inky and Nimbus)

Good afternoon everyone!!
Leslie, not sure about that! We find it difficult to do pictures when on the tablet and so just avoid it.
Anick, that's pretty funny! We would love to be in the mind of the pup who was insulted like that! Hee hee!!
Dee glad the death certificate is ready and that the hoe will hang on to it until the other stuff comes! Can't wait to see the finished product!!
Carol, gosh yes, there is so much on all our minds! Hugs to you!
Thanks Marty! We love that picture! Hugs for you and Heshey!
Laura, I am so glad Pippi is doing so well! Sorry about all the pain with the heat pump, though!!
I have a date set for my carpal tunnel surgery. It will be November 2. I have to get a covid test before. Not looking forward to that!!

That Teddy is too funny!! I love the way pups reason things out.
Dee, when (how long in the future) will you need to use the death certificates? I am still learning about all of these things in case I need to deal with them in the future. Are you worried you might forget to send someone a copy?
Lisa, great jews about your surgery date!! That is pretty soon. Will it be outpatient?
Carol, I am glad your crew had a quiet night. I remember how precious those are. I hope you have many more in the future.
Marty, it sounds like you had a successful barkday celebration for Hershey! Senior Geordie seemed to enjoy his walks more than anything.
Laura, maybe lay out all the estimates on the table and pray over them? Perhaps one will be revealed as being the best match for you. Or use the coin. I like that one!

Good morning everyone Happy Saturday Toby mommy usual post pictures from her computer doesn't try from her tablet. Carol we are glad Pooks and Molly had a good night sleep. Laura we hope you can decide which estimate to go with and that they do a great job Lisa so glad your surgery is scheduled for November 2 you will be in our prayers that day that the surgery will be successful Marty thank you it is a difficult time for me though at times it seems like a bad dream that I will wake up but I know it is reality and he is in a better place and the girls Sabrina, AJ and Tiffany are with him. I certainly miss all of them Tori and AJ got into a little fight yesterday but I broke it up and then they were okay the rest of the day. I called Lisa (forgot it was her birthday did not show up on my facebook) to see if she was home so she could take a picture of the shawl she said yes come on over so when I got their their neighbors blue healer came out of nowhere Jerry was hollering at it to go but it was not listening it snapped out my left ankle pulling my pants lucky he did not draw through my skin or make me fall. When I got in the house Jerry told Lisa what happened she checked my pants they had dog bites in them so she contacted her neighbor told her what happened the neighbor offered to pay for my pants I said no they were old so Lisa asked her to put the dog up as her kids and grandkids were coming didn't want the dog going after them. She told Lisa she would have her on the leash. Then Lisa took the picture invited me to stay over the kids were coming to celebrate her birthday I said thanks but it was already after 6 and I need to get home before it gets dark. I felt hurt that they didn't call me throughout the week to invite me instead just because I happened to show up on that day to invite me. I definitely do not want to be a second thought or imposition so I went home and packed up the shawl I finished Joan's shawl mailing it today at 8:30 am. Here is the picture Hugs from Dee, Tori and Dallas

Geez, I’m glad you are safe! I can’t believe that in this day and age there are still irresponsible people who don’t contain their pets.
I don’t blame you for not wanting to stay at Jerry & Lisa’s. They aren’t the most considerate folks to be related to. I wish I could have you over for dinner, but I think you would pay good money to not eat what I eat. 😆
Now that you’ve finished the shawl, what will be your next project?

Oh Dee, I am sorry! I don't blame you for not staying! I'm sorry about the Heeler, soo. I don't understand some people at all! My friend's dog was killed by a dog who was off leash. It is so tragic and so avoidable!
Leslie, I'm sorry about your diet, but you sure make me laugh! Yes, the surgery is outpatient, but I will have a cast on my arm and won't be able to use my hand at all until they put the smaller one on on the following Wednesday. The smaller one will come off a week later.
