Lisa, I’m sorry your Dad didn’t prioritize taking care of his family. He should have skipped luxuries in order to help you. ☹️

The victim in the school incident has a long road to recovery. Her grandmother was talking on the new today about her. There was a GoFundMe set up for her that quickly exceeded the amount that was being asked for. At least now her parents can be by her side while she recovers and not worry about expenses while living in another province. The teacher is now home and is taking time to recover both physically and emotionally. A GoFundMe was also established for him. School is back in session and therapy dogs were there today to help ease everyone back to school. The accused was to be in court today but this hearing was pushed back a week so her lawyer can do more work on the case. Apparently she had been flagged previously as someone that may cause harm to herself or someone else. This is all the way around. I agree about dusting! Hate doing it but it grudginly needs to be done. Leslie, I take it that it was "hot and dry" at your place. So sorry about that. Lisa, that is about what your dad said, but unfortunately I have heard that before. Hope the newish battery helps! Buddy only seems to want to eat if I put cottage cheese on his food, so that is what I am doing.

Fortunately we are in an internet provider ''war'' here right now and it makes both companies try to outdo the other so service is getting better for less right now, I got high speed and unlimited internet for the same price I was paying slow speed and very limited 5 years ago.
Pickleball is getting very popular here too but I don't have any interest in playing even if a few friends do play.
Lisa, I think it is way more complicated than just the politics, lots of social issues are influencing all that violence too.

Good morning Happy Thursday Lisa I am only making 2 Wizard of Oz Microwaveable bowls and a couple hot pads with the left over material from the orange Microwaveable bowl making for Candy for her daughter. There is orange in the Wizard of Oz Medallion material that is blue background so using orange for the backing. Sorry to hear your batter died again that heat must be awful on car batteries. Glad Chuck is bringing a newish batter before you get off work Carol we too pray for the student and teacher and for all who witness such a terrible thing Leslie I hope they don't force upgrading to fiber as that is more expensive. Never had problems before but have noticed getting a lot dropped from internet since they keep saying Upgrade to Fiber Diane in our subdivision only a few internet services are allowed in so it is hard to have competition. I am hoping Buddy still doing good. That is the girl has a long way to recovery and glad to hear teacher is out but home recovering I wonder if he will give up teaching. If that girl had things in her report like that they should have been home schooling her and not letting her near other kids such a shame. So Buddy is spoiled and wants cottage cheese on his food. Anick that is great you have internet provider war going on and you can get high speed for the price of slow speed. Yeah at our residents meeting they said the tennis court is going on and they are putting in Pickleball Court. However the pool being fixed is in litigation but if we insist on it being fixed now they will have to do an assessment and we would have to pay suggest we wait and let previous owner pay after litigation but has no idea when that litigation suit will happen. Eventually we will be assessed to repair our roads they were not built to handle all the Amazon, Fed Ex and UPS trucks talk about us picking our packages up at one of their offices instead of letting them in subdivision My happy exercises all day starting with chair yoga, Zumba and Cardio Drumming then quilting where we will sew on tags to the quilts we have made for the raffle at our Craft Sale. Also for the Veteran Quilt we are giving to a veteran and the Veteran Luncheon. Hugs Dee, Dallas and Belle

Dee, whatever gets Buddy to eat, I will try. I hope you will post a picture of that quilt when you are finished. You all do such lovely work.
Because we live so rurally there is only one internet provider we can use, and that provider seems to up the price every 6 months. We have looked into StarLink, but that is even more money than what we are currently paying. Our internet is quite spotty and some days we can't get on at all.
It is raining here today, so no working outside. Yeah! Time to make jelly!

Diane, my Father-in-law was in a rural place too and he only could get the internet by satellite, it was so slow he was saying he could take a nap each time he was changing website.
Carol, here it is all above ground so when they use cheap parts everything stop in rain or snow so they have to be careful.

Good morning everyone Happy Friday the 13th Carol sorry Verizon making such a mess installing cables and that you do not use them have Xfinity and have had it for years Diane I agree whatever it takes to get Buddy to eat by all means let him have it as long as it doesn't upset his pancreatis. I have not made a quilt in a while the tags I was putting on quilts is from the ones Ann and Karen finished from Rachel stash and they are being raffled up at our craft sale. We are raffling 2 quilts and one basket with a lot of homemade items in it like pot holders, cards, teddy bear, jar twisters, hot pads. Now a days I have been working on making microwaveable bowls. This orange one the needle broke 3 times going off the thicker part even with pressure foot up. Plus I ran out of cotton thread ran to Walmart they only had polyester thread so making a trip to Joanne's today when I get back from playing chair volleyball. Our cable provider goes up every 6 months too. Glad you have time to work on your jelly Leslie I was wondering the same thing what kind of jelly Diane was going to make Deb sorry you are having internet issues hopefully it can get solved. My happy going to exercise at 9 then heading to chair volleyball with 3 other ladies from our subdivision at our community center on 17th street. Hugs, Dee, Dallas, and Belle

Leslie, jelly didn 't get made yesterday as we went shopping instead. Today Chokecherry syrup should be made. At least I'm hoping to get it made today.
Dee you are so active and I think it's awesome!
Deb, everyone seems to be having internet issues lately. Mine keeps cutting out on me right now. It only does that if it is raining or snowing outside and right now it is still raining!
Buddy says Hi and he had a good day yesterday and is loving the cottage cheese on his food!

Leslie, chokecherries actually have quite a bitter taste, but when you juice them and then make the juice into jelly or syrup, it is quite delicious!
I agree that Dee put me to shame too!
Well no syrup was made today as hubby decided to make bread, a pie and sour kraut!
