Good morning Happy Saturday Carol you and the girls have a great Saturday Leslie unfortunately she stopped in at crafts the other day talking to one of our ladies her sister has moved into the subdivision and they have been doing a lot of things together so we hoped that she would not be coming to quilts but know she will come back in January when Karen Mims comes back she likes Karen. So I was surprised she had time out of her busy schedule to come and try to run the Golf Carts Rodeo. Diane I am already on meds for high cholesterol but did not want to take for diabetes so when I saw my lab work that is when I drastically cut back unable to cut it out entirely I do eat when the craft ladies bring in to crafts. But have added 2 more days of exercise since I had the blood work. I know how difficult it was for you to cut down on chocolate but glad your cholesterol level is now normal, Glad to hear Buddy had another good day Lisa she is annoying she is a military brat her mom and dad were both big shots in the military. She brags about all the things she can do. Ann was ready to quit coming to quilting with her in the room demining everything we were working on and would not blame her as I myself feel uncomfortable with her. But we have few people in quilting and don't want to turn anyone away but don't need someone come in putting down everything we do. Telling us we are not doing it right. My happy today no plans was going to pull weeds at day break but Bonnie back from her month long cruise called bringing me something she got for me in Rome and wants to schedule the days in January, February , March and May for me to watch her dog Mindy and her girlfriend Pat's dog Zach. Don't mind extra cash as she will be in Connecticut with Pat during the summer months with Mindy. She has volunteered to bring Zach and Miudy to my house on the 23rd to feed my girls when I go to the day to St. Augustine Fl I plan to pay her don't want her to feel if she does that for my dogs that I watch Zach and Mindy free. She is coming at 8:30 am to schedule then I can get some work done in the yard Hugs, Dee, Dallas and Belle

Dee, some people, like that lady, are simply control freak and that is annoying.
I am not happy. Canada post workers are planning going on strike starting tomorrow and I did order yarn that will not get here until that settle.

Anick, I had no idea Canada Post might be going on strike. Sigh. Hopefully it is resolved soon.
Dee, hope the annoying person isn't too annoying today. Yes, giving up chocolate was hard. I could polish off a Costco size package of chocolate chips in less than a week. I remember seeing on the package that they were high in saturated fat, but thought nothing of it.
Wishing all a good day

I think our puppies are laughing, “Ha ha. If we can’t eat chocolate then you can’t either!”
Dee, I feel for you! I had a co worker like that lady, and she made everyone miserable. If you can, maybe you and some other quilters can get together in your homes to do projects. Then the annoying lady can’t cone.
Aagh! I hope that postal situation settles soon. What happens if bill payments are late because they are caught in transit?

I used to work for Canada Post and a general strike happens with regularity unfortunately.
I get some bills via e-billing, so the strike will have no effect on those. The other bills, well we will wait and see how long this labor situation takes to settle. Hopefully it is settled before it's time to mail Christmas cards

Yeah, hope that postal dispute is settled. The pressure should be on them to work it out! I hope so or what is Santa going to do? I do not do well with control freaks. I don't understand that mentality at all. Well, I let myself indulge in chocolate today. So haha to your dogs, as if they know or care. I went overboard with it. Usually, I'm pretty good, but today I was bad! Oh well! Have a great day all!

Good morning Happy Sunday Anick sorry postman are going on a strike preventing you from getting your yarn till it is settle will pray that it settles quickly Carol hoping you and the girls have a great day Diane yes giving up chocolate is definitely hard but I do eat it twice a week as I can't totally get away from it. So have you given up Costco chocolate chips that your cholesterol was in normal range. Hoping Buddy still doing good. Yes we hope the postal strike is settled before time to do Christmas cards Leslie the annoying lady has not been coming to quilters since Karen won't be back till January she will show up then thinking we will work on another veteran quilt. Ann said no plans on working on projects together we will just do our own. In cases like the post office going on strike I am glad I have my bills for electric and HOA automatic deducted and not getting charged late fees. Deb there are some days you just need that chocolate fix. Have a great day My happy today going to church then chair volleyball at clubhouse Hugs, Dee, Dallas and Belle

Murphy, from memory there was only one long postal strike and when that one did happen most companies didn't give any penalty for one late payment and most, if you don't get the e-billing, will give you the info you need to go paye at the bank. It is package not getting delivered the biggest problem in the end, I don't even know where my package is, the tracking as not moved for 5 days now, since it did pass from Denmark post to Canada post.

I feel your pain, Anick. I had a parcel sent from Toronto almost two weeks ago and it arrived in Saskatoon last Monday --- and that is where the tracking ends. It says "Out for Delivery" but it has not been delivered and no one seems to know where it is. I guess we find out tomorrow if the strike is on as the "cooling off" period from the latest negotiations ended yesterday.
I did have a Lindt chocolate yesterday, but it was my birthday so I thought I could have some chocolate on my birthday!
Have a good day everyone

Good morning Happy Sunday all! Have you heard anymore about your postal strike? I suppose, as with all things, if prices (wages go up) rise, so will price of stamps, etc. for you. I just traded chocolate for . Seems I have to have some kind of vice. And if you drink , you know it doesn't really taste good with chocolate. Kudos to you all for something safer than alcohol! Diane, I hope Buddy is still doing good. Do you think your postal strike will be settled soon. Any promising signs? I hope your chair volleyball was fun, Dee! I hope I can get someone to help me get Foofy out and in her carrier to take her in to get her nails trimmed. I'd also like to get more flea treatment on her. Last time I didn't get the whole little vial on her. She wiggled away as I was trying to hold her. And now she's in a spot I can't get to. Hmm, I think I pay all my bills on line. So I really depend a lot on my computer and internet. I hope I can get some help tomorrow especially with Foofy. Wish me luck and then some! Have a great day, everyone!

Diane, that did happen to me once and it was a pain in the butt, I had to file a lost package form to get my money back. Turn out it was a dude from a sub-contractor that drive the truck from the central to regional post office and an employe from the regional post office, they were related, that took it. They were removing the tracking stickers from the box they wanted and scanning them as if they were going out for delivery they finally got caught by a video surveillance camera.

Good morning Happy Monday Anick that is horrible they have shown where some postal workers threw mail in the river but a few years back. Last week saw a post that a lot of mail was found in the street no mention how it got there just that someone turned in a bunch of mail found in middle of street. Really sucks they keep raising prices yet their service is getting worse. Hope you strike is over Diane sorry your package still out for delivery and no tracking. Of course you can eat chocolate on your birthday. Hoping Buddy still doing good. Happy Birthday to you Lisa glad you are feeling better and went to a play sorry it had an ending you did not like. Our church is having an early showing on November 17 at 4 pm at the Epic Theater of the Best Christmas Pageant Ever done with kids. I bought a ticket only $5 hoping I can find someone to ride with since it will be dark when we get out of the theater. Deb I hope you find someone to help you with Foofy so you can get her nails trimmed. Yes, my chair volleyball is always fun. My happy today is going to exercise and then shopping need to get bread and some cleaning products Hugs Dee, Dallas and Belle
