Tango and UsurpingToby- I went to my doctor Friday, my GYN, not the gym. It's a huge place with alot of twists & turns. I had to do alot of walking because I was getting the works, an ultrasound, annual exam & I was going to get a mammogram, but since I just got my last COVID vaccine on May 20th they said alot of women were getting false positives when they got their mammogram too close to being vaccinated. They said I had to wait 6 weeks. Pippi I do get up every few minutes to walk a little around the house. I have found that even when I am really hurting it does help to walk. Taking a nice warm/hot shower helps too. UsurpingToby Wow! You named a bunch of movies. Thanks! I am looking for anything serious. I like suspenseful & gory, just so long as it's a serious movie. I really wanted to see The Conjuring, but I can't pull it up on My Demand. I can watch alot of movies for free on my TV. I just have to check to see what is available. I can also "rent" some movies for a fee. I'm looking for free stuff.

I am a lot into horror movies too, I have an horror movie channel and it is often on. Sean of the dead is so funny, I got to watch that one every time it is on. The scene in the pub with the Queen music on got me crying with laughter all the time!!I like the Zombieland movies too, same kind of weird humor. I am not big on gore and only gore.
Dee, that would not be good if they close that center, I am sure it keep some of those people from being lonely to be able to go there.

willy- What is the horror movie channel you get called? I used to get one. I think it was called Chiller. It's not around anymore. I pay for a huge cable package that has so many channels, I cannot keep track of them. It's expensive, but I think it's worth it. I feel I get some of the money back by being able to pull up alot of things & watch them whenever I want. I can also fast forward & rewind, so I love that.

Dee, that is about the senior center. Hopefully where you are moving to, there will be a nice place with lots of activities. Sean of the Dead, Zombieland and Warm Bodies are dark comedies, I suppose. I’m with you Anick, Sean of the Dead makes me laugh so hard every time I see it!

Lisa, I finally moved all my sticks and limbs and such to the curb this morning. Then I got out the pole saw and got a couple of branches that were touching the power and cable lines coming from the pole to the house. Hated to lose one of those branches for the privacy it provided, but figured it was better to get it off those lines. Did just a little bit on ivy on the trees before calling it quits. I was starting to get too itchy and sneezy. So now I'm nice and clean and pooped. I wish I could get as motivated on the inside of the house! Leslie, it sounds like Ginger has found a buddy for horror movies. I have seen none of those, but had to laugh at the title of one ... Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. What I would like to have when working in the yard is a good old fashioned sports sweat band. While working today I realized I swipe at my face mostly to get sweat away from my eyes. I wore my work gloves today, which tends to make me far more aware about touching my face. I brush my shoulder against my face to try and wipe the sweat away. Dee, how odd about the cars parked on the street. Wonder if they were leaving access for work that was going to be done or something like that. I used to have some unkind neighbors that would park on the street blocking my driveway. Grr. Thankfully they have moved and there is a lovely and kind family in that house now. My grocery store now says if you have been vaccinated you no longer have to wear a mask. I wore mine anyway. Think I was one of maybe 4 people I saw in the store with one on. Mmm. Your Arby's sounds good. We have one, but I wish it was closer to my house. I've got some ground beef I need to brown and freeze part of today. I picked it up yesterday. Only one of two packages of ground beef left at the store. I hope that was not already from the ransomware attack on the meat packing plants. I heard about that after I got back home. A few weeks ago it was a gas shortage and now this. Sigh. I'm sorry to hear about Nancy and her progression of dementia. And I hope the senior center will be able to give people time to decide they are ready to come back, and won't have to close. Ginger, I'm glad they gave you a head's up about the vaccination and the mammogram. I wish I had a nice, deep soaker tub for when I am hurting. I have to settle for a shower, which I agree does feel good sometimes. Eeek Anick. A whole channel devoted to horror movies? Ginger I envy you feeling like you get your money's worth from cable. I have a LOT of channels, but find I only watch a small handful. I wish you could buy packages of channels say 5 or 10 channels at time - but you get to pick the channels. You could buy as big or small a bundle as you like. The big part of that being that you get to pick the channels, not the cable company. Boy I could go for a nap today. I think the dogs and cats have the right idea. But instead I guess I will practice some music and get busy in the kitchen. - Laura (Pippi, Cheeky, Inky and Nimbus)

Good evening everyone!
Ginger, forget the movies l mentioned! They are funny ones!
Laura, l made a dent. Took about five boxes of stuff to Goodwill and have about three more, sho far. I bet you could find a sports headband on Amazon!
Leslie sounds like you like horror movies too! But maybe the funny ones mostly? I need to watch Sean of the Dead!
Anick a horror movie channel? I'd probably never watch that! Chuck would though. I got him a tee shirt with Chuckie that says Don't F*** With Chuck.
Dee, i hope the center doesn't close. But when you move, you could start a *Stitch and bitch club!*
Carol so you like scary movies too! I never would have guessed! I like the suspenseful one but not gory ones.

Really I like the suspenseful “scary”movies or the funny ones. I don’t like gore. Wow, congratulations on gathering so much to donate! I need to do more to clear things out. It’s been too easy to be lazy lately. I hadn’t heard about the ransom of slaughterhouses. How . Leslie/Toby

Good morning everyone Happy Thursday Ginger you have plenty of people to discuss your horror movies with. Your GYN sounded like the VA I had to take Ward to in Cincinnati Oh I asked him if he wanted a wheel chair to use he refused but think he was regretting it by the time we found the room he had to go in. Anick not sure if our center will close guess they will see how many people come to attend the Florence one gets a lot of people there but if they end up closing Walton they will tell everyone to come to the Florence Center but we shall see. Carol you and daddy like scary movies too Laura not sure if the Walton Center will close but they always talk about financing and if not enough coming they may close it and tell us to come to the Florence one. Either place I am thinking of have clubhouse and very active at least they were things slacked down with virus but not that mask are being removed they may start back up. While weather is nice great that you are motivated to clear out the yard when the rain comes then you can get motivated to clean up inside. Thinking of Pixie on her crossover anniversary deeply missed, dearly loved, forever in our hearts, hugs to you on this occasion. The cars were moved before the mailman made his delivery. I just don't understand the driveways are 2 car driveways and people don't park in their driveways don't see any trucks coming to do maintenance work. I guess they are saving their driveways if they get visitors. Same thing as Lisa said find a sports sweat headband on Amazon I did years ago for Ward when he was doing yard work for people and sweating. Lisa I like the idea of stitch and bitch group. The club house of both places I am thinking of before the virus was very active but things should start picking back up now that people have been vaccinated and mask have been lifted. I need to get the incentive to get my stuff moved to goodwill but when my sister comes we will do it together she is visiting for a few days the end of June. Leslie enjoy your scary movies Took Rosemarie grocery shopping at Krogers on Tuesday so yesterday she was complaining her legs killing her from all the walking and Di said you should have to do so much walking Dee can run and get the stuff you need and bring it to your cart that is why she is taking you to help you so you don't need to walk so much, Rosemarie insisted parking near the pharmacy though she had nothing to get in pharmacy and we had to walk clear down to the grocery. I did go get her some vegetable chips in the produce aisle while she was getting her frozen meals. She bought my lunch at Arby's but Di mentioned she always brings her mom something home to eat whenever they are thinking of her mom then her mom goes to Arby and doesn't bring her a sandwich back that she got her mom into eating. Rosemarie said she offered her half of hers but she wouldn't eat it. I said that is an after thought after Di got after your case and Di said exactly she is trying to get her mom to think of others just not herself. But she does think of her granddaughter Sammy most of the shopping she did was getting some goodies for Sammy to eat when she stays the weekend with her. I told Di sorry I didn't think I could have let you have the sandwich she got me. Hugs Dee, Tori & Dallas

Ginger, the horror movie channel I have is in French, the one in English did shut down a few years ago.
Here most tv company let you pick the channel you want without having to get a whole package you don't want. There is a list of channel and we pick 20, 30, 40 or more channels that we want and we can change them ourselves by the net on a monthly basis.
We will finally get the much needed rain today, everything is bone dry outside right now, that is not normal for here.

Hello everyone! I got my MRI results back almost right away. Here's what it states:
Findings: Mild patellar chondrosis. Small focal sprain/tendinosis in the proximal patellar tendon. The PCL, ACL, MCL, posterior lateral collateral ligamentous complex & meniscus are intact. Medical subcutaneous varicose veins. Small joint effusion. No pathologic marrow edema.
Impression:
1. Mild patellar chondrosis 2. Proximal patellar tendon sprain versus tendinosis
In more laymen's terms: PF chondrosis (cartilage deterioration) is the softening or loss of smooth cartilage. PF Chondrosis can occur due to trauma such as a direct impact to the front of the knee or overuse. The cartilage begins to break and tear resulting in a rough surface of the knee joint. Kneeling, squatting or knee extension during workouts can cause trauma. Obesity also contributes to this condition.
Tendinitis (or Tendonitis): This means “inflammation of the tendon,” but inflammation is only an infrequent cause of tendon pain. But many doctors may still use the term tendinitis out of habit. The most common form of tendinopathy is tendinosis. Tendinosis is a noninflammatory degenerative condition. It is characterised by collagen degeneration in the tendon due to repetitive overloading.
Joint effusion, commonly referred to as water on the knee or fluid on the knee, is the abnormal accumulation of fluid in or around a joint. It is most commonly caused by infection, injury, and arthritis. In addition to swelling, joint effusion is associated with pain and stiffness.

Wow Lisa! Is it mostly old craft stuff you are getting rid of? I wish I could purge that much stuff from my house. Looking on Amazon is a good idea. Or maybe even a sporting goods store. So far I have only looked at Wal-Mart and didn't spot any. Then again, every time I turn around my Wal-Mart seems to be rearranging things. So it is quite possible I just never found where they moved things like that. Leslie, I just heard about the meat packing plants yesterday. Actually my mom told me after she had seen it on the news. Guess it was the largest packing company in the US and I think she said they shut them all down. I don't know if the store I was at was about out of ground beef because of panic buying or because we are already seeing/feeling the shortage. The ransomware attacks of things that further disrupt life after a year of disrupted life is discouraging. Makes you wonder what they will try to hit next. I hope they never get around to the power companies or other utilities! I can learn to eat vegan if I need to, but I can't do without at the very least a fan in the summer!! Dee and Ginger, when I would take my uncle for his cancer treatments if we had to go to another part of the hospital for a blood infusion I used a walking app to check and it was nearly half a mile we would go to wind through the halls to get over to another building. And then the same back to get back over to the car. Luckily my uncle was content to ride in the wheel chair. And it gave me a break from all the sitting, but I was often surprised they didn't find a way to put the infusion center closer to the cancer center. Almost everyone we would see in the infusion center were cancer patients. So far I'm not feeling so motivated to work on the inside of the house, but I need to. Wow. So not only do you have to drive Rosemarie to do her shopping but now you have to do her shopping for her as well?!! I would be tempted to tell them it's too much and they need to look at hiring some help. Does Sammy drive? Maybe she could start taking Rosemarie shopping on the weekends. They could think of it as bonding time. Anick, I am envious of your TV options! I mentioned what I wanted to the cable company once and the response I got was they have the technology but they would lose too much money. So it's not going to happen. So I have something like 200 channels and watch maybe 5. Every now and then a few more. It wasn't bone dry here, but we needed some rain, too. Looks like we got some during the night and they are calling for thunderstorms this afternoon. Mom is taking dad to the doctor this afternoon. Hope they won't run into bad weather going over or coming back. I didn't think I overdid it too much in the yard yesterday. But what I did do was use some loppers on some branches and vines that were probably too big for the tool. I had put one handle against my chest and and pulled on the other handle with both arms. I started feeling that during the night and still this morning. Note to self ... don't do that again. hehe. - Laura (Pippi, Cheeky, Inky and Nimbus)

I've got several different meds I can take, PT, at home care, etc. I need to do more research online about my knee problems & see what all they suggest. I'm feeling alot better since I had to walk all over the doctor's office. I hope it continues to feel better.
I am going to work in office Saturday. It's a long walk down the hallway to get to the elevators to go to my cubicle, so I'll get some walking in then. There's going to be some great horse races Saturday including the Belmont. I cannot wait!
