I don’t think there are any triggers for BP. It just comes and goes until it finally leaves for good. Don’t worry, it is more funny than anything. (And to think I went and ate lima beans last night!)
Yikes for Auntie! I am glad she has family that keeps a close watch on her. We had a family member fall and break a hip this week too. While assisted living is necessary, the isolation from family is terrible.

Good morning everyone Happy Saturday Carol we send you lots of hugs with Tinkerbell Birthday and Nekko crossing the we know how you feel. Toby I wish that dream of you visiting me and my family would be a reality I would love to have you visit. We are sorry that the BP just goes whenever glad you feel it is more funny that will help you better throughout the time Pippi so sorry to hear about your great auntie she needed one of those medical alerts like mommy has then she would not have to lay there for 10 hours. My cousin Sue was going to have a surprise birthday party for her mom's 90 th birthday last june and I was going to attend but a week before the party my cousin contact me that her mom fell and broke her hip was in the hospital from there to rehab but the fall caused her to get dementia she did not have it before then she went to the nursing home and she died a month ago. But your auntie had dementia before her fall. Glad someone finally came to her aid. My prayers with your auntie and the family going through all this. The pocket shawl is basically the same style just different stitches and different borders. The pocket shawl with the feather stitch the lady said Part Ii coming out today that shows how to do the pockets and border but her picture has fringe around the bottom I do not like fringe so I won't be putting fringe on the bottom. I will post pictures when I am done. The other 3 shawls I did were done with double crochet this one is called feather stitch first time I have ever done anything with feather stitch and it looks pretty nice. Tori tried to play with Dallas last night but Dallas snapped at her I told Dallas that was not very nice Tori was only trying to play with her she had me up at 2 panting and scratching so I slept till 4:30 am then got up and fed them and took them outside. Monday is the vet visit see how that goes. This picture I am attaching looks so much like Dallas but it is not Dallas Hugs Dee, Tori & Dallas

I got so much to catch up on, my computer did crash big time and I was not even able to find this place with my tablet, weird isn't it. I have not finish setting up my computer, I did lose everything in it, I will read what I did miss as soon as I have time to do so.

Welcome back! I didn’t realize your ‘puter got sick. I am glad it’s better now. What have you been up to while you were offline?
That Dallas must be a fluffy cutie! Will she be going to the groomer anytime soon?

Lisa, I didn't realize breaking a hip could be so dangerous. Wonder what it does that creates such a risk. I was reminded of my grandmother who fell and broke her hip once. She had one of those buttons you can push to summon help, but she didn't use it. She had forgotten they had two people on file that had keys to her house and she was afraid they would break the door down to get to her and she didn't want that. So she eventually drug herself to a phone and called one of the people that had a key to come unlock the door and then let her call an ambulance. I am hoping my aunt will be able to be in assisted living and once the pandemic lessens be able to be active with the facility. My cousin said (when times are normal) they do lots of day trips and activities, but my aunt would enjoy. She had joined a senior group that did a lot of day trips in the past and she enjoyed it. (Wish my other aunt - wife of the uncle who had cancer - would have gotten active with the assisted living place when she had tried it out.) We're going to keep our fingers that my aunt will work hard with rehab right now and maybe when the assisted living place is ready to get more active she will be ready and able to join in. Meanwhile, we worry that the isolation will speed along the dementia. It's not too terrible at this point, but she does repeat herself a lot, and I do mean a lot. hehe Leslie, I guess if Lima Beans cured things I would eat them, but it would have to cure something pretty good. hehe. Dee, for a second I thought that dog hanging out the window in the car was Dallas. hehe I can't wait to see more Dallas photos. And when the time is right some Dallas and Tori photos. When Dallas gets up scratching in the middle of the night does she want to go out to potty? Oh Anick, how frustrating. I think I would hate losing pictures most of all. Hmm. I don't think I have seen Marty Angels Hershey & Winkie in this thread for a while. Or was I just not paying enough attention? I have been able to do a little in my craft room yesterday and today. I am hoping that will motivate me and get me back on track getting this house together. I certainly lost steam over the summer. (The house didn't need any steam to warm things up. hehe) I have been enjoying some cooler temps. Back up around 80 today, but still nice on the sun porch this afternoon. So I have a dog sleeping on each side of me and cats wondering around as I type. Shortly I plan to curl up with the dogs and book and just relax out here. (I'm pretending I don't hear all the hammering, drilling and sawing going on somewhere.) - Laura (Pippi, Cheeky, Inky and Nimbus)

Laura, most of my pictures were on a backup disk and the guy who did fix the computer did save the ones that were in the temporary folder that I had not had time to do a backup so I did not lose many of them. Apple season is in full swing and Willy is going banana with all the apple from the tree next door that are falling into our backyard, he eat so many that he look like he is on a fruit sugar rush...... Things are getting cancel again here, the virus was quiet all summer but we are getting into the second big time all across the country.

Good morning everyone Happy Sunday Anick they did say that the virus would be back in the fall. Does Willy get sick from eating those apples. I guess he has a lot of runny poop from too many apples. Glad your pictures were saved when mine crashed before I could not get pictures from letter P to end so I lost all my Tiffany and Sabrina Pictures lucky AJ was at the beginning now i have the back up so hopefully nothing happens but I have saved them to a little drive just in case. I need to save again since I have added Dallas. Yes that picture looks so much like Dallas Leslie if they plan on doing her teeth after they get her blood work I think I will have them keep her all day and groom her after her teeth are done. Will know more Tuesday after they call with blood work results. I have to get a poop sample and a pee sample before I take her. That Pee may be hard like AJ when I put that thing under her she may stop peeing Carol sorry you had a day with Nekko going to the and Tinkerbell birthday. Sorry Itshumo is so lonely doubt i f I spelled his name correctly. Leslie we have had a lot of houses built here but since the virus started it has slowed down not sure if they are finished. Laura hoping your aunt can join in some of the activities and her dementia doesn't get worse to wear she won't participate Ladies I have finished the body part of the feather stitch pocket shawl but today will work on the pockets I took a picture you can see what I have finished will post another when I get the pockets finished and on it. Hugs Dee, Tori & Dallas

Leslie, sorry to hear you have construction, too. No fun to listen to and no fun dealing with the dirt and debris. Anick, that is wonderful you had most of your photos backed up and were able to save others. What a relief. I need to back up mine. Oh I hate to hear virus numbers are going back up. Boy I look forward to the day this thing can be controlled better or better still cured. Dee, the feather stitch on the shawl is pretty. Does it slow it down or go just as fast as the others? Decided to watch a little TV today and trying a new mystery series on Acorn. A show called Mystery Road - based in Australia. I've watched the first episode and got the second one going now. Good so far. - Laura (Pippi, Cheeky, Inky and Nimbus)

Good morning everyone Happy Monday Lisa it is heartbreaking as someone made a cute video of Tiffany from a pup till she the bridge and that was lost and I had cute pictures of Sabrina as a pup gone. But my fault for not having it on a back up drive to begin with. Tori I did not have too many of her since she was just rescued in 2016. Marty we hope you don't have too much smoke to deal with from those fires Kathy hope you are doing fine Leslie I hope you are not having a lot of problems with your Bells Palsey and your eyes. Laura the feather stitch is very easy and moves along fast but my problem is doing the special stitches in the border with dark color thread hard to see where to insert the needle. I see I have to rip out most of the pocket I have finished as I goofed on the camel stitch which the border and pockets are done it. Hugs Dee & Tori and Dallas

Lisa, I am afraid you are right that the virus is going to be around for a while. I keep hoping someone will come up with a vaccine. I got out to run a few errands this morning. Made it by the post office and then to my parents' house. I was going to pick up a couple of things there. Ended up spending a few hours, which seems to be typical. Did a few things to still try and help dad with his HAM radio antenna. I've had two friends offer some advice on what they think it needs, but he seems unwilling still at this point. At least it sounds like what we did today helped a little. Then I "fixed" the TV in the basement for my mom. They have a finished basement and she goes to watch down there from time to time. I'm not sure if the wrong input option had been picked on the TV or if mom forgot to turn the power on on the cable box. But luckily that one was an easy "fix". Then a few other odds and ends while I was there. It's funny, I can talk to them on the phone and ask if they need anything and usually get a no. But I show up and as soon as I get ready to leave they think of things. Glad when it is something that I can help with or do. Finally got the new sticker put on my licence plate. I have been carrying it around in my purse all month meaning to put it on but not thinking about it until I was behind the wheel driving. The old sticker expires the end of the month. So I got the new one on in time. - Laura (Pippi, Cheeky, Inky and Nimbus)

everyone! Dee, the shawl is very pretty! I really like the contrasting colors. Hmmmm, the friend that made the video, can they resend it? Carol, it is nice to have friends like all of you who you can tell anything to! Hugs on your ruff week! Laura, I am glad you were able to help your parents!! They probably don't tell you on the phone because they don't want to be a bother!! I wanted to recommend an author for you. His name is Nick Trout. He wrote a book called The Patron Saint of Lost Dogs about a vet who inherits a small veterinary practice in Vermont. Very charming, as is it's sequel, Dog Gone, Back Soon. And I am really loving the one I am reading right now, The Wonder of Lost Causes.

Good morning everyone Happy Tuesday Carol I hope Molly is still improving with the medication and poor Itsumo missing Nekko Anick it is rough with the virus coming back and places closing back up. Lisa I forget who made the video for me to be able to ask. Not even sure if they are around. Glad you like my shawl I have one pocket finished but not sewn on should finish the other pocket this evening then sew it on and hopefully get a picture of the finished project. The pockets are long but not going to rip out to make smaller not use to working lengthwise instead of width wise. Laura I agree with Lisa your parents don't want to call and bother you to come over and do something for you but if you are there then tell you what you can do. I myself do the same thing won't call to be a bother but if someone comes to the ask and ask then tell them. Marty I hear those wild fires are consuming the wine country has the one you go to been destroyed by the fires Here is an update on the vet visit with Dallas their electricity was out due to a storm but they went to a room where some light came in but could not run her blood test till they get electric back or give results of urine. They did tell me she did not have heartworms. Well Dallas has severe dry eyes and something on her cornea making things hazy for her to see so I have to put eye drops in her eyes 2 times a day for 10 days then 1 time a day for 10 days and an ointment for her cornea two times a day. Plus her ears were really bad they flushed them out and I have to put a cream in them 2 times a day. The storm had their electricity out so they will have to send blood work today so won't hear how that is till a couple days. They have her urine and poop sample will find out the results in a couple days. He did say her teeth were bad knows of two molars need extraction may be more won't know till he gets in there can't make plans for that till the blood work comes back. She had to get heartworm shot, and flea and tick medication and a bordella shot so she can be groomed in 2 weeks go back for booster shot.
